Yes what is the profit projection for Pharma? look at Malaysia active cases less than 1,000. and to those negative covid people do you think anyone would go out their way to pay for covid vaccine which are rushed and completed within less than a year with unknown potential side effects?

and out of less than 1,000 active cases do you think all will source from the same vaccine? there are multiple vaccines being made worldwide different vaccine has different side effect and effectiveness what if Pharma got the inferior vaccine? i mean whats the profit for 500 vaccine? doesnt justify the super increase of the share price. Their only bet is to sell vaccine in indonesia or india and if their government decided to only allow their own pharma companies to distribute and sell vaccine then pharma stock would crash.. and also how much indonesia willing to pay for vaccine? and how many people willing to get the vaccine jab? its just pure speculation that will crash really hard

pharma and dpharma gross projection 500x1000 = 500,000 each, if their profit margin is 50% they would make 250,000 profit. hardly justify their stock value

JohnFarmer458, vaccine is not for infected , but prevention from getting infected (to those healthy and fit). and it will takes months till one year to see side effect to your organs and system. Politician and Reporter only can conclude vaccine is working and safe now. NO DOCTOR in the world currently approved that. :) But as usual, most of traders are layman and News is trusted source beyond everything. see how much quantity of stock do all pharma have in bursa? one hour game limit up already. Im sure the day for gloves will come, mark my words and see later.

i am aware of that but as i mentioned earlier how many covid negative person willing to go out of their way to pay for vaccine? even if government subsidize many will choose not to get the vaccine especially in Malaysia where active case is less than 1000 and new cases are manageable

3jrockie , couldn't have put it better , one is confirmed profit , how much only , the other one purely speculations that the vaccine exists, if we read the news properly, even the new Oxford findings of the vaccine says it won't be in mass production easily a year from now, by that time gloves already enjoying 4 quarterly profits, so it's their monies they can do what they want I guess.
