Stop doing level 1 investing and start reading deeper. Cash flow positive of 15 million means they are making a profit for the quarter while bluesail and intco losing millions even with 10% rebate and 6% tax incentive from China government. Meanwhile Malaysia instead of giving rebates tax glove companies additional windfall tax on top of the 24%. So for harta to make money is amazing. In top of that the impairment is for closing down the 15 year old inefficient lines while they go ahead with ngc newer faster cheaper more efficient lines which bode well for the long term profitability of the company. Yes they lose 70 million in staff payments for vss, but saves company money in the long term also.

Use level 2 thinking. Share price always go up after restructuring. Even twitter now is finally profitable for the first time in history after Elon fired 80% of unnecessary staff and improved efficiency. Twitter will now be worth even more.

I do not think a 15 years plant is consider old and inefficient. The only reason for closing is overcapacity and running at very low capacity that caused high overhead cost

Yu_and_Mee, agree to disagree :) i dont like to hold spare cash, i also have no time to research so many companies to buy. Find a good one that can generate return, then stick to it, easier to just follow for updates than understanding new companies by jumping around. Bound to make mistakes and losses.

@YourQuirkyWays29, yeah I think we share very similar investment strategy. Unlike many rich, 'successful' sifus here, I am a poor salaryman. No time to day-trade everyday, otherwise I will lose my job. So instead I average down on this counter because I also believed in the company's fundamentals. Unlike Jepun or other naysayers, I did not have the chance to buy below RM1 (because it never happened, lol). But still very glad to buy at very low prices.

To be honest, there's no rush to buy now. When bad news come (anytime now), price will fall, again, and again. From my many recent experiences, when every naysayers calls you a 'du*b loyalist', or a 'st*pid glovetard', that's the best time to buy. Thanks naysayers.

The last two days gave me the best laughs I've had in a long time. Even better than many TV drama, Malaysia boleh! When price are low, we are the 'glovetards', the 'st*pid loyalist' for buying. When price rebounds, these guys all suddenly change their tune. “Really so easy to invest ah, just buy any red counters lor”, "Wah you guys kena konned by operator and IB," "Hey, st*pid, glove bosses goreng lar, stay away" "Wei, see money take money st*pid, don't be greedy lar". Some of you naysayers are more sour than my decade old expired wine. But, thanks for the laughs. Goodnight.
