Affin is definitely for long term investment & it is undervalue at the moment with low PE...its price now actually close to its NAV (4.23) as at 30/6/13...assuming if it is taken by other bank now, with P/B around 1.5, its price will shoot up to 6.345.
Superb99 I don't think another bank will be allowed to take over Affin simple reason control by Ltat so we have to see the present value after taking over Hdbs
Results should be out soon. 2011 paid div 12c, 2012 paid 15c Hopefully expect 18c if all goes well this year. To reach share price of rm4.50 also struggle
with this good news (better result and 15 cents T.E. dividend), I don't think can get more at lower price. that day Q at 4 cannot get it. Tmr if can get some at closing price that would be good enough. just q lah, dapat, dapatlah, tak dapat, sudah lah. Good luck to all shareholders and potential shareholders! Declared 15c just like last year. Was expecting 18c. disappointed. Why do the directors have to horde cash for? reward shareholders and share price will move. Example D.Lady giv 130c and see how share moves. Affin directors are stingy and need to be more generous to shareholders. Really disappointed.
