My guess is that there is a corporate exercise going on

It is still early stage, so only a few senior people buyng

Later as the new spread out to the lower level employees and outside parties (lawyers, accountants, etc), there will be more buying

Just my theory

There is no merger between Bimb and Mbsb

As reported in local news in May:
Malaysia Building Society Bhd (MBSB) is understood to be eyeing Kuwait Finance House (M) Bhd (KFH Malaysia) as an option for a merger exercise, according to sources who have been cited in local media.
