if Calvin lose 10% he will cry father cry mother..so after MPCORP suspended at 0.04 and likely to be delisted n Calvin may suffer total loss so will he.........?
Likely..calvin did mention he only invested 3% of his total funds in hundreds of co in bursa so far..he could invest another 3% of his money into mnrb....he can easily absorb the selling pressures fm the rights issues
If the co continue with their 5% div yield calvin may not hesitate to pay as high as rm2.50 to this share, using his funds (less than rm1 billion) fm cayman island ( or panama?) So far he only invested 3% of his total funds in bursa...u do the maths if he decided to invest more on mnrb
Amanah Saham Bumiputra got over 9 million excess shares while PNB got over 2.8 million excess shares. Those people who had no money to take up their rights entitlements could have easily sold at around 15 sen per rights shares. Throw away easy money.
Last Closing before ex-date = RM1. 56 First Opening after ex-date = RM1. 17 If sold OR at RM0. 15 RM0. 15 + RM1. 17 = RM1. 32 Still lower than sell before ex date.
If a shareholder doesn't have the financial means to take up his rights entitlement he should sell it off rather than just have his rights forfeited for FREE. Alternatively he could sell his share and subscribe for his rights entitlement.
should create a dividend policy, with the new govt emphasised on insurance or takaful, grab while nobody buys or pay attention. it would rebound rapidly if mnrb announce its dividend policy and participate in the insurance scheme for the B40 or M40
buy while its still cheap.. no other insurance co with high net asset per share but selling at this price level... this is a national reinsurance company too
profitable co plus right issue completed successfully. new govt emphasised on insurance for the b40 and M40... insurance sector will boom again very soon
