国能经济和策划监管副总裁拿汀罗斯丽娜，接受《The Edge》财经周刊访问时透露，马拉卡位于丹绒宾的1000兆瓦煤炭发电厂，因建筑问题需延迟超过6个月。
马矿业获被罚1.1亿
马拉卡母公司马矿业（MMCCORP，2194，主板贸服股），可能需缴付约1亿1000万令吉的拖期罚款。
这座发电厂的商业投产日期，原订在2016年3月，据消息指出，主要涡轮厂房出现问题，需要8个月至1年时间修复。
“这是前所未见的延期情况，其他的发电厂也可能延期。”
她指的是一马发展的2000兆瓦宜唛煤炭发电厂，首期将在2018年10月商业投产，第二期则落在2019年4月，需要大规模的填海工程。
更新旧合约成本更高
为了确保而未来数年的国家电网不出现问题，国能必须尽速采取行动，以免让大众遭遇停电的窘境。
罗斯丽娜表示，国能已经有两个理想的建厂地点，不介意透明化价格架构，会以能源安全为主要考量。
但全国在未来7年，将迎来近9400兆瓦的新发电厂，国能想要兴建新厂房的建议，可能难过政府那关。
“虽然我们可选择更新到期的独立发电合约，但这些厂房已经超过20年，效率不足。
经营旧厂房比兴建新厂房需额外5亿至7亿令吉的成本。”

Both YTL and YTLE have had relatively better up movements post-announcement of the almost same proportionate-to-share-price dividend announcements. Instead of going for still-lagging YTLPOWR, buyers look to have preferred the daddy YTL conglo itself.
