PPA contract renew will provide ytl power some additional time to bid for any new tender .
i don;t think ytl power will be left out without any new project. If not, where will all their engineers go.
This engineers are the pioneer in IPP with many years experience. Their skills is still needed to give value added to the country. If not they will migrate to other country and what is the purpose of Talent Corp.

epf always doing the stupid things. Example
1) epf voted for petronas to buy over misc share for 5.50 but minority shareholder reject it. Now the price is 7.00
2) march 13 , sold supermax at 2.00 and bought them back at 2.70

Now , it is doing the same stupid things for YTL power.
this epf is political driven investment fund. Pay peanut 6% dividend considered very good already for them .
Better take out your money once you reach the aged limit. You will easily get 10% if you do your own investment.

Every employee should set a target which is earn back the same amount that we pay for epf and income tax yearly in KLSE.
11%+13% (epf) + 5% income tax(for me). WTF is 29%.
Almost same as develop country ( Australia 30%).
but what benefit we get? !@#$%^&*(.

Thks for yr advice. In fact return of my big investment in YTY is now at 6+% within couple months excluding the imminent 5.9cents div. However people in Bursa tend to speculate in some counters sometimes in their investment life. One or two times of screw up trades will pull down the overall return significantly. I am exactly one of this type of investor.

Yes bsngpg should learn more from MG0231 about investment. Also the importance of differentiating between good and bad NTA. After that you won't make only 6+% a year.

is a good time for ytl power to buy 49% of india thermal power business as the india rupee is low.
Ytl power will gain from buying cheap in this deal. Good timing for them to buy into indian asset
