YTLP record profit before tax RM 232m (-26%), but realize net profit RM 448m (+ 67%) !!??

Further check YTLP financial only can found that it is mainly due to one off prior year tax credit and deferred tax credit record by Wessex water. Lucky YTLP declare 10sen final dividend, if without dividend/tax credit, it financial result will be reduce significantly.

I suspect Francis Yeoh declare bumper dividend perhaps wanted to 'compensate' shareholder loss in share price due to his own mistake that cause loss of 4A power project. If without bumper dividend to reward shareholder, Francis Teoh may face numerous blame from shareholder in upcoming AGM :D)

please hold tight this ctr till year end..there is 2 big news and ang pow.
1) track 4A still intact to YTLP, currently M@##k0077 not accept offer from SIPP and TNB will be minority shareholder for track 4A. Politically SIPP will goes to YTLP back. OR track 4B will directly award to YTLP due to EC already make noise about power shortage face next 4 years.
2) HSR from KL to Singapore
Both project is multibillion RM project and YTLP is main player for both project.
My suggestion to accumulate YTLP before budget 2015 this October.
Btw, congratulation those have a YTLP with 10 cents dividend, even
RM 3.5 Gas Mlsia also cant compete this dividend..yahooo

my dividend yield will be 6.9 % based on price 1.45
Expect it will go-up back to at least 1.65 and it still give 6% dividend.

Better than FD.

Must keep longer.

ytl power is a cash rich company. holding about rm 10 billion cash

it is a good step for them to distribute the cash back to the shareholder if there is no project yet.

Q2 dividend 1 for 20 + Q4 dividend 10 cents. Total dividend yield of about 7% + 5% = 12%. Superb.
