wilzai, the period less than 3 mth is not the factor, its the premium.

buy warrant at low premium and sell or convert at profit is the objective. if you buy at high premium and less time, if mother not up will end up -ve during convert

better stay aside than jump in now, even very good profit like hiaptek doesnt help much

do notice on below factors:-

- result is lower than expectation = bad
- rm strengthen over usd on export = bad
- market is worry on trade war = bad
- parliment dissolve soon (uncertainty in political - do effect market on gov policy etc) = risk
- early bird selling lock profit = bad
- next quarter will be lower earnings = bad

for those short holder, should take opportunity to sell or cut loss when technical rebound

long holder may hold. ave down should wait until GE and trade war find its way to clear uncertainty

if you still want to invest in other stock, should look into below factor,

- dont buy junk
- buy good stock (bmw/merc/porsche)
- rsi oversold below 30%
- price slipped >20%
- post growth in past 3 qtrs earnings
- potential posting higher earnings coming quarter on qoq and yoy

if you manage to find this and enter, the 20-30%
% loss you hold now may recover earlier than waiting vs to pick up end FY18

Same old story... When...VS...was below @1.20...May 2016...earnings... below expectations... Quarterly profits down...Insiders were buying...n...buying. I was a Pig...also...keep Buying...got slaughtered...for more than 18 months...so be it...I am back again...will get slaughtered...right...hahaha...this time the probability...is...I don't know...yet...hehehe...!!!

next qtr will be lower so if you can hold for next 3 qtr it would be fine. vs msia, indon & china must all up to achieve >50m earnings which is hard based on current order

customer k vol are low in Q2 and customer d is obsoleting cordset model to cordless.

pe15-20 would be fair now. but if you not able to cut loss, can opt to wait Q3/Q4 to recover.

the +ve news are vs mgmt are solid and new factory/warehouse will be ready for additional project/customer if can secure on top of existing order

as top 50 ems in the world, i never lost faith in vs. only portfolio need to review to suit your investment objective

The most difficult... psychologically...many of us really don't understand what the hell the management are trying to do. But when you listen, read, n analyse deeply, what the CEO, CFO, n BOD, be it during AGM n notes in the financial statements, you have to judge it yourself. Usually woman have better judgement of character. And mind u, Uncle Buffett has that, it's ingrained, since he was so young...he started Investing. Don't buy Company run by dishonest people. Intelligence is important, Energy is good, but Honesty or Integrity must be 100%. And buy quality business, that have been generating conservative earnings growth, consistently Dupont ROE above 12%, n run by honest n efficient management. TQ.
