It is interesting that dividend become much lower compare to few quarters before.Maybe the management team want to keep more money during this difficult period or increase in share number.Besides,despite of the slightly increase of PAT qoq,the eps is become much lower since FY17 excluding the previous quarter due to esos and bonus issue.

qr is within expectation..the dividend is fair..with current business performance, if management give so much dividend the growth of the company will become slower..so its win win aituation for investors and management..

敦马英伦会见DYSON爵士成焦点
SKPRESS和VS能否迎来好消息？

首相敦马哈迪医生昨天在英国伦敦和全球高端电器商戴森（DYSON）创办人詹姆士戴森爵士见面，成为随团访问大马传媒焦点，马哈迪见DYSON爵士，有两名上市公司老板，也会十分关注。

这两名企业家是星光资源大老板拿督颜金发，以及威城工业老板拿督马金龙，预料一旦DYSON爵士拍板提高在马来西亚的投资，两人领导的公司，将是潜在受惠公司。

根据马哈迪透露，詹姆士戴森爵士有意为马来西亚带来新的投资，并通过投资来提高马来西亚工程师的能力。

其实詹姆士在本月初已出现在马来西亚，更和本地多家报章的财经版记者会面，透露DYSON的投资计划，如今回到英国和马哈迪会面，只是进一步确定他的投资行动。

DYSON要提高投资力度，大马上市公司中，会有两家上市公司直接受惠，这两家公司就是电子服务（EMS）厂商──星光资源（SKPRESS 7155）和威城工业（VS 6963)。

目前DYSON是星光资源主要顾客，DYSON的委托生产贡献星光资源大部份营业额；威城工业也有为DYSON生产部份产品。

因此，当DYSON要提高在大马投资力度，星光资源和威城工业已拥有完善生产线和技术，是最主要候选人。

星光资源和威城工业的股价走势有点相同，最近都受到盈利滑跌困扰，需要新因素催化成长。

威城工业截至今年四月卅日第三季，净利按年下滑58.3%至2105万令吉。

星光资源截至六月卅日第一季业绩，净利按年下滑22.8%至2573万令吉，星光资源盈利连续三季滑跌。

星光资源股价RM1.32，它从年初的RM2.35高位滑跌至目前的水平，跌势惨重，它需要出色业绩推动股价，DYSON最新行动，会否为它带来好消息呢？

威城工业也从一月中的RM2.60跌至目前的RM1.52，半片江山丢失，也是等待新的利好推动股价反转上扬。

（吉隆坡25日讯）电子制造服务（EMS）供应商威铖（VS，6963，主板工业股）截至7月杪的2018财年末季，净利按年微增4.4%，同时宣布派发每股0.6仙股息。

威铖今天向交易所报备，净利从去年同季的3680万6000令吉，提高至3844万1000令吉，或每股2.29仙。

同时，营业额也从9亿8338万6000令吉，按年微扬2.8%，至10亿1093万6000令吉。

中国和印尼的营业额分别按年下跌17.5%和12.11%。另一边厢，本地业务的营业额和净利，分别提升8.7%和21.55%，归功于多国主要客户订单增加，抵消了美国大客户订单减少的影响。

威铖董事经理拿督颜森炎在文告中指出，全年净利报1亿5077万令吉，跌3.55%，因原料价格雇员成本均走高及为新生产线投入初始设置开销。

不过，营业额创新高，写40亿8919万1000令吉，按年攀升24.7%。全年业绩展现承接大型订单的能力。

股息除权日为下月12日，会在31日支付。
