Kementerian Kesihatan Kesihatan (KKM) ingin memaklumkan bahawa Mesyuarat Pihak Berkuasa Kawalan Dadah (PBKD) kali ke-361 telah bersidang pada hari ini, 16 Julai 2021.
Mesyuarat telah bersetuju memberikan kelulusan pendaftaran bersyarat untuk kegunaan semasa bencana bagi dua (2) produk vaksin COVID-19 iaitu:

1. COVILO Suspension for Injection COVID-19 Vaccine (Vero Cell), Inactivated
Pemegang pendaftaran: Duopharma (M) Sdn. Bhd.
Pengilang: Beijing Institute of Biological Products Co. Ltd. (BIBP), China
COVILO merupakan vaksin yang dibangunkan oleh China National Biotec Group Company Limited (CNBG), Sinopharm, yang juga dikenali sebagai vaksin COVID-19 Sinopharm.

2. Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine Suspension for Injection
Pemegang pendaftaran: Johnson & Johnson Sdn. Bhd.
Pengilang: Janssen Pharmaceutica N.V., Belgium

Kelulusan pendaftaran bersyarat ini memerlukan maklumat kualiti, keselamatan dan keberkesanan produk vaksin tersebut dipantau dan dinilai berdasarkan data-data terkini dari semasa ke semasa. Ia bagi memastikan perbandingan manfaat-risiko (benefit over risk) bagi produk-produk vaksin tersebut kekal positif.

KKM akan sentiasa mempertingkatkan tahap kesihatan awam dalam memerangi wabak COVID-19 melalui perolehan bekalan vaksin yang telah dinilai daripada aspek kualiti, keselamatan dan keberkesanan oleh Bahagian Regulatori Farmasi Negara (NPRA) dan diluluskan oleh PBKD. Kerajaan juga komited untuk memastikan penduduk dewasa Malaysia mencapai imuniti kelompok (herd immunity) selaras dengan sasaran Program Imunisasi COVID-19 Kebangsaan (PICK).

bro daren, sinovac pun sudah berapa belas juta sampai, pfizer, n az, sum all together may be exceed population here... that why they discontinue as maybe almost all should be sufficient to cover everyone here, though i still didnt get my first jab due to late registration. let say first and second jab is the stage one to fight the original one, second stage for now we are saying the third jab will come up tp fight of the variance.

but there is one thing to discuss, if people that took sinovac, the third jab can use others or can only use sinovac because of the element contain in sinovac may be not the same as other, thus only sinovac can further refine the dose. thus, if that happen, the gov must continue to order back from them for the third one

all population need re-vaccinated again after 12 months. So Sinovac maybe a cheaper option for private although the effectiveness is less than Pfizer.

FACT : These 2 Pharmaceutical GLCs are the arms of the Govt. They have been engaged longer than the past 25 years. Singapore provides FREE shots of Pfizer and Moderna. For those who wish for Sinovac, they have to pay USD25 themselves. Also, those vaccinated with Sinovac are not included in the tally for inoculation.

come one, vaccine is not the only business they made... for what they are going to order more? while the vac is already enough to cover population here. but i like the idea someone say that we should opt to iver what? that use for curing. forget the real spell... as the case are increasing tremendously, another option seems good. here, pharma can play active role so that we get new business... stop saying like that's the end of the pharma business like most income come solely from sinovac, so naive. and if pharma also think like that, then, pharma dont deserve every penny from investors.
