Ringgit at 4.295 n WTI Crude at 43.27 n DiCaprio returned all the 1MDB gifts.... soon it is crunch time. Hold on to your Liihen as it is Ringgit-proof, Oil-proof & 1MDB-proof... Ty-Koon has less than 3 M to dispose off then he's done...
It has to overshoot the fair value before coming down to it again.....has been trending below fair value for a considerable period. It could start moving up very strongly going forward. Again, let time do its work!
Good reason now for BOD to abort planting of rubber trees project, after all it is a silly plan. Ever hear of a Lobster restaurant going into lobster farming to ensure regular supply of lobsters?
Good that old man has sold. The ban on export of rubberwood will boost Lii Hen share price as I remember Chairman or CEO mentioned problem is getting rubberwood as raw material locally
On Malaysia's ban on rubberwood exports, this will benefit Liihen & Hevea as rubberwood is their main raw material for manufacturing. Latitude & PoHuat have 80% & 60% respectively of their revenue from their Vietnam subsidiaries and their business may be affected... so, wood furniture exports from Vietnam & China will continue to decline
Bro Max2838,I had read an article that us one lobster chainrestaurant hv own a farm to ensure supply and quality, abt few yr ago.Liihen hv this plan bcos they can foresee this furniture industry still can continue expand and they need stable supply. Just my 2cent view
I am fine with planting of rubber trees projects but this is super long-term plan at least 10 years. I just not comfortable what will happen between this period. The board might do consider again another medium plan to reduce to 10-year gap and so support the primary business, which is furniture making.
The article mentioned ban rubber wood for local furniture usage, not to export. Wondering is this a good or bad to Liihen? It sounds like ban export to other countries but only use it locally eventhough it already made into furniture. Anyway, just my opinion, anyone know about it?
Revenue, net profit, net profit margin , eps all uptrend. Low debt , lots of cash, dividend > 6% . Only the Sohai will sell all Liihen and buy Evergreen
Someone or more than one....have been selling around this price.....sohai or not....time will tell. But the longer it stays at this price range....the bigger the price movement thereafter.....all indicators are pointing North.
Analysts have been digesting the news over the weekend and now the news of the ban has been plastered all over the Edge headlines. Expect an interesting July-August share price movement...
To the Chairman BOD, At the recent AGM in June, you mentioned that Directors fees have increased because of an additional Director. As Mr Koon is no longer a major Shareholder, wouldn't it be appropriate to reduce one director, namely Mr Chan, who was appointed because he is Mr Koon's bro-in-law. Also, we the shareholders do not agree to any investment in JAKS as such Mr Chan (a consultant for Power Generation in Myanmar), this appointment is a now irrelevant....
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
