The building of US glove factory was delayed becuz no way US would approve a company with active ban on force labour. Very obvious there is some positive negotiation between US gov and Supermax to uplift the ban in Q2 2022. So the timeline is just nice for the construction to start in Q2. You will have expedite clearance if u are investing USD350mil and create jobs to jobless americans.

Anyone has any comments for the US glove factory.
Currently, Supermax earnings are mostly in Msia, earning rm47mil on revenue of rm523 mil for Q2 based on ASP of USD25 per1k and minimum wage of RM1.2k pm.

In US, minimum wage is USD11.25 per hr , that will be USD1,980 ($11.25x8 hrs x 22 days), making assumption only weekdays.

Besides that, utility bills are so much higher in US than in Msia, don't see the glove factory in US making much profit other than savings from the logistical point of view. If the US factory produces Latex, cost of importing it from Msia will be expensive. It's better for them to produce only Nitrile glove in the US factory.

Supermx is the 4 Glove king producer, due to the ban recently, price crashed to the lower point, it is now on recovery path, furthermore the US plant may capture more business in that region. Expect will slowly & surely move upward. My Tp 1.30…1.4…..1.6

The current price does not reflect the actual value of Supermx. It should priced more than Rm 3

At current price of RM1.20, it's 100% above pre-pandemic pricing.
Q2 2022 revenue and net profit are 45% and 24% above Q2 2019.

I believe it's more than justified the Fair Value between RM1 and RM1.20

I am just wondering, any sifu/holder here for glove stock? I knew there are people have experience glove rally before pandemic itself. Besides, top 4 glove company should be good to hold during that period but unfortunately it got badly affected now.

Btw, Does anyone has table for supermax on the book order of their glove? and really looking forward that US factory will be fully booked with their orders.
