Talks on the Tembikai and Cenang RSCs came just weeks after Petronas sealed a deal in July with Coastal Energy to develop the Kapal, Banang and Meranti (KBM) fields also off Peninsular Malaysia. We understand that Coastal is negotiating with Petra Energy and Bumi Armada for involvement in the KBM RSC.

On marginal field jobs
Management clarified that there were three tenders for risk service contracts(RSC) recently. Scomi has submitted A BID FOR ONE PACKAGE COMPRISING TWO OILFIELDS (EMPHASIS MINE). There are no details on the potential value but we gather that it couldbe US$200m-400m
