Dufu Technology Corp Bhd expects the demand for hard disk drives (HDD) to continue remaining weak, thus requiring inventory adjustments.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the precision machining parts and components manufacturer said inventory adjustments will likely continue until the end of 2022.

For the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2022, Dufu’s net profit dropped to RM16.42mil from RM20.25mil previously, while revenue fell to RM74.72mil from RM90.99mil before. Basic earnings per share was at 3.10 sen, versus 3.80 sen previously.
