Sharing some feedback from Armada recent adventures to give you a flavour on what to expect...

When the Armada’s Management announced successful debt restructuring, the price shoots up from 0.21 to 0 285. When Armada secured a new India FPSO project, the price up again from 0.21 to 0.25.

One thing you should know is that The Game of Thrones is very intense in Armada since it is one of the Index Counter. The big plus for Barakah is that we can expect less politics here since this counter does not allow Short Selling which to me is more transparent for long term investors like us.

Buying rate today is 61% and I managed to accumulate more at 0.04..

Only 1.7% of the share are traded today which is a good indicators..

Barakah needs to do a massive writeoff and shares consolidation in the tune of at least 15:1 to address the crux of the problems.

Buying now even at 4 sen would mean that you will lose 15x if the 15:1 cash call exercise happens! Not forgetting that’s only to address the writeoff. What about the cash call you have to put up, that will be another at least 10 sen per share you have to subscribe.

All in, even at 4 sen level now, better be a wise man by the side line and don’t buy any, wait until more clarity is seen

The restructuring plan has two parts. The first addresses PBJV while the second involves Barakah and entails a share premium consolidation, capital reduction, private placement of irredeemable convertible loan stocks (ICULS) and issuance of redeemable convertible unsecured loan stocks (RCULS), among others.

Barakah’s restructuring plan requires approval from Bursa Malaysia, the Securities Commission Malaysia, the High Court and all its creditors — secured and unsecured — as well as at the Barakah, PBJV and Kota Laksamana 101 levels and shareholders at an extraordinary general meeting.
