Don't think Salcon will have the piece of cake for Selangor's conssessiona as they are not in the same league as Puncak. In fact, feel that they are going to change their core business to property development....

Even salcon ,mmc and ahmad zaki are the front runner for the langat 2 water plant project, but Puncak itself also have construction arm, which the award of contract to build Langat 2 could be use as compensation to entice Puncak to accept take over offer. Otherwise, MMC should be given priority as close link to UMMO, follow by Ahamnd Zaki link to royal family and last Salcon link to SP setia CEO.

Whoever get the Langat 2 project, JAKS will still be the main beneficiary due to monopoly as the main supply for extra-ordinary pipes & fittings. JAKS is the sole fabricator & distributor for certain exclusive pipes & fittings in Malaysia.

on the uptrend, don't know whether they can go passed 0.80. 3 years ago, Salcon went up to 0.88 when they sold 40% of their water business in China to Mitsui Group, maybe they are selling the remaining 60%, is possible
