Good job, MAHSING. For those who hold the shares up to now, you have already gain extra 11 cents. The current bonus-issue-adjusted price level is equivalent to 3.00 before the ex-date. Further surge is expected as the dividend ex-date is around the corner.

First and final dividend of 7.6 sen per ordinary share of RM0.50 each comprising 0.4 sen per share, less Malaysian Income Tax of 25% and single-tier dividend of 7.2 sen per share, in respect of the financial year ended 31 December 2012.. Does it mean we have 7.6 +7.2 dividend? anyone?

no, it is 7.6 sen declared, but out of this 7.6 sen there is 0.4 sen needed to be taxed 25%. So it is 7.5 sen goes into your pocket...

Hi Everyone, Correct me if i'm wrong:
(1) Ex-date for Bonus Issue: 4th July: It means that those holding mahsing share till 4th July will be entitled to bonus issue. Those bought on or after 4th July will not be entitled to bonus issues. The share price have been adjusted accoudingly to RM 2.89 -> RM 2.40 per share. Thus, if you bought on 4th July, u wont get the bonus issue.
(2) Entitlement Date: 8th july supposed the bonus issue will be credited into your CDS account.

Mahsing is overgeared with its aggressive land purchase. With property market slowing down and oversupply in highend properties and Govt recently announced loans policies, Mahsing is likely to face sales problem in the months ahead, particularly 2H 2013 n 2014. If I were you I would sell the shares

long term investors who got the bonus issue wont opt out at this price la. those who is throwing probably are those who purchase during the bull run in May. investors who bought prior would want at least some capital appreciation before throwing the share since its back to the same position as before. sentiment will probably bring the share price up a little more before going sideways.
