Malaysian palm oil tumbled below the MYR 5,000-per-tonne level, a level not seen since January, as Indonesia announced an export acceleration scheme to ship at least 1 million tonnes of crude palm oil and derivatives. The world's biggest exporter also reduced the maximum export tax rate and levy for crude palm oil to $488 per tonne from $575 per tonne to boost shipments. On top of that, exports of Malaysian palm oil products for June 1 - 20 dropped 10.5% to 738,368 tonnes from 824,589 tonnes shipped in the same period last month, cargo surveyor Intertek Testing Services said. Meanwhile, recent declines in soybean oil and crude oil prices amid lingering concerns about slowing global economic growth and fuel demand have also been pressuring markets.

All palm oil companies that issued dividends provided superior returns, even at current depressed levels.

bplant price maintained due to good dividend as well as hs plant and Taann

sop also holding firm as it gave a 1st interim dividend for the very first time plus one free bonus for two

Thplant Agm is on 23rd June and we can propose a dividend

Tsh has given a 3 sen dividend and will certainly be able to fat dividends after Bulugan land sales clear debt

Clearly CPO prices above RM6,000 will not be sustainable.

Even at the 4,000+ level, palm oil companies will make good money.

TSH's May 2022 production of 73,929 MT strongly indicates that Q2 will be better than Q1.
Provided they do not gamble too much on futures.

The world will never have enough foods and cooking oil. If there is any surplus, donate the surplus to Ethiopia, Sudan, Mozambique and other poor countries. The world will thank you for that. Don't let the commodities traders push down the price.
