New York: US stocks closed sharply higher on Friday, ending several days of sell-offs with a rebound fueled by upbeat earnings, strong economic data and easing fears of a larger-than-expected interest rate hike by the Federal Reserve.

All three major US stock indexes posted solid gains with financial SP.SY
leading the charge in the wake of Citigroup Inc's C.N earnings beat.

This reversed Thursday's sell-offs driven by downbeat guidance from rivals JP Morgan Chase JPM. N and Morgan Stanley MS. N

It's normal and sensible for the government to postpone or cancel some of the government linked projects especially those projects are not essential or urgent.

Malaysian government is on an austerity drive . It would be beneficial to the nation, if those excess funds are channelled to the welfare and well being of the people.

An obscure news report from Indonesia mentioned the discovery by fishermen off the coast of Bali of a UFO (unidentified floating object) over the weekend. Upon hauling the object, which resembled a large water tight tong, on board and opening its hatch, they found a near delirious man inside mumbling words to the effect of "buy kaw kaw, die die hold". Wanting to help but being very superstitious creatures, the fishermen decided to cast the tong back into the sea with some water and food provisions for its occupant. The UFO has not been sighted since but scientists surmise prevailing winds and tides will bring to shore somewhere on Bali island.

Those interested must ensure they are able to pick up the share. the more contra play on this, the more those shorties would love you for that. they are in control. if and when many already picked up, then those shorties will have problem to get back to return their borrowed share good luck.

Agree to Stingray. Contra players especially those play with margin sure si kiau kiau.
Those with power to hold I don't think is a big problem. Eventually the stock will find its bottom unless the company faces problems ahead.
