Although FCPO is trading near the critical resistance, buying interest remained elevated, thanks to external boost from Soybean Oil. A stronger market structure was observed within a smaller timeframe, and we expect FCPO to test the upper resistance level ahead.

Edible oil prices jump 8% in a fortnight By: FE Bureau | July 22, 2021 3:15 AM This rally is despite the 10% export tax reduction by Indonesia and 5% duty reduction by India, he said. There are several reasons for the increase in edible oil demand across Asia post the second Covid wave.
Prices of edible oils have gone up by almost 8% across the country in the last fortnight despite reduction in duty on imported palm oil. Retail prices of cooking oils have gone up by Rs 10-15 per kg in this period.
According to Sudhakar Desai, president, Indian Vegetable Oil Producers Association, both global and domestic prices have gone up in the last two weeks by nearly 8%. “There is an increased and additional demand for refined palm oil from India after easing of restrictions. There is also an increase in demand of palm oil by Nepal and Bangladesh due to the potential to send refined oil to India at zero duty,” he pointed out.
For mid-short investment, should be aware of pricing spike...If not mistaken, the price should able to touch around 1.08; Then start a new dropping journey.
This might be the last drop of price, we won't guarantee how much it will drop but if this company subs have decent sales, it might hv a value of taking
bahai4453 My question is : Can this biological asset made any impact on the the company's financial performance ? Will this play a vital role in the selection of investing target ? 27/07/2021 12:54 AM
This is a very good question indeed
1) Yes, biological assets continue to grow and increase in value year after year
See an example
THPLANT
See last qtr result under Note 17
Biological assets
Year ended 31.12.2020...Rm41.6 millions
Year 31. 3. 2021........Rm55.9 millions
So THPLANT assets are stated as below At 1 January Change in fair value recognised to profit or loss...Rm14.278 Millions
SO IN JUST 3 MONTHS THPLANT BIOLOGICAL ASSETS INCREASED BY RM14.2 MILLIONS IN VALUE
What kind of Biological Assets THPLANT GOT?
Receorded in AR of THPLANT Under Property are Palm Oil Estates, Timber & Teak Wood Estates
TEAKWOOD?
YES! THPLANT HAS 3,000 ACRES OF PLANTED TEAKWOOD (All of highest value)
For TSH it has both Palm Oil & Timber Concession lands planted with Solid hardwood
These hardwood trees are used for Wood Flooring and sold by its subsidiary Ekowood
A land value will increase many times if Good Biological Assets are planted there
See how people who got Mau Sang Wang durian planted on their lands ask for exorbitant prices?
News from where? Only good news is palm oil price is very high compared with previous Q. So we are anticipated TSH will report good profit and announce good dividend.
Despite the good CPO prices recorded both TSH & Bplant never moved and is a laggards among their peers. It doesn't add up with good fundamentals why TSH estate proposed sale to KLK was terminated and BPlant low valuations never attracted any buyers
