Prabowo is planning to carry on the outgoing President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo's domestic processing policy. This strategy sees Indonesia banning exports of raw minerals --including nickel-- in favor of processing them into greater-value goods at home. The government is planning to extend the domestic processing policy beyond the mining sector. While the domestic processing policy is often promoted as a major booster to the economy, Prabowo said it would take time for the country to develop its downstream industries and reap its benefits. 

“Downstreaming [or domestic processing of natural resources] will take several years. What will be the growth driver in the first years [of my presidency] will be our concentration on agriculture, food production and distribution, as well as energy. We want to go green in a very quick way,” Prabowo said. 

To unlock the 8-percent growth, the election winner is banking on biodiesel, which is expected to drastically cut Indonesia’s diesel oil imports.

“We want to produce our diesel from palm oil. This will be a very strong growth driver. We import $20 billion worth of diesel oil every year,” Prabowo said, while adding that the switch to biodiesel could help the country save its money. 

Indonesia is implementing the mandatory 35-percent palm oil blend in its biodiesel -- a policy better known as the “B35”. According to Prabowo’s campaign manifesto, the president-elect wants to increase this mandatory palm oil blend to B50 by 2029. Indonesia is the world’s largest palm oil producer.

Previously, Prabowo emphasized his commitment to bringing Indonesia to self-sufficiency in renewable energy sourced from plants such as palm oil, sugar cane to cassava that thrives in the country.

"Later, we will no longer take oil from the ground, gas from the ground runs out, as long as there is sun and as long as it rains, every year we can harvest diesel (surya), many countries are jealous of Indonesia," Prabowo said in a scientific oration during the National University of the Republic of Indonesia (UKRI) Graduation in Bandung, West Java, Thursday (29/2).

He said that in the next few years, Indonesia will be able to change all biodiesel fuel made from palm oil which aims to stop imports of fuel from abroad.

"We can already make B100, meaning bio diesel from 100 percent palm oil. Can we imagine or not? We will no longer import diesel from abroad because we have 48 million tons of palm oil production now," he said.

Yes.
Indonesia is Downstreaming palm oil and ultimate aim is to leave palm oil for domestic use.
Palm oil will reach 10k on yearly chart by 2030 if indonesia succeed in downstreaming palm oil.
Malaysia will likely follow indonesia to downstream palm oil to attract local production of value added product.
This will set off a downstreaming trend in vegetable oil.
Brazil and argentina will also follow suit to downstream their agriculture in future to spur domestic production of value added product.

China and India will ramp up stockpiling of palm oil and other vegetable oil in the next few years.

Soy bean oil already knee jerk up 2% on this news.

An incoming political leader will paint a picture in the colors they desire, be it B35, B50, B100 or 8% GDP growth and it sounds good to voters. Achieving it, however, is left to posterity. Did we not also have a past political leader who spoke of Vision 2020 and continued 10% economic growth but where is Malaysia now in 2024? Stuck in a middle income trap and mired in political discord. Reality bites and the bite can be debilitating.

1. Reinvest all dividends into more Tsh shares

2. Or use it as a reward for being fruit of your patience
Go enjoy the bounties of life

3. Or use it to buy other good shares
This was what Warren Buffet did with SEE'S CANDY
From the constant streams of dividend Buffet invested in other great stocks
Currently HDD stocks will come into focus due to Ai and Data Centers' set up

4. Or just hold cash

be happy and be comfortable

This month if no impairments and Tsh earns like normal we shall see Tsh turns debt free

Commentary on the prospects
CPO prices have traded sideway around RM3,800 per MT after easing from the height of
RM4,500 level in early April due to falling oil export, rising CPO stockpile and ample supply of
competing vegetable oil. Since end of April, soybean prices have widened its premium against
the CPO as devastating flooding in far southern Brazil dampened the expectation of good soybean
crop production. In view of this, CPO price is likely to find reasonable support at current level.
The Group acknowledges the impact of the climate change, the uncertainties of the global
economy, geopolitical tension, trade protectionism and discrimination on the demand for oil palm
products. However, the Group is confident that global population and per capita income growth
and the push for the expansion of biodiesel programme will drive greater demand for oil palm
products in the longer term.
Underpinned by its healthy cashflow and robust balance sheet with a net asset per share of
RM1.50 and net gearing of 0.01 times as at 31 March 2024, the Group will undertake new planting
at a steady pace on its unplanted land bank over the next few years to progressively expand its
planted hectarage. In addition, the Group will strive to improve its processes through
mechanisation and automation to improve efficiency and continue to seek strategic opportunities
within the green/sustainable segment to complement its long term shareholder value enhancement
initiatives.
Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the Group is cautiously optimistic of achieving
satisfactory performance for 2024.

We started investing in Palm Oil after we Sold Off Supermax at Rm20.00 (All other gloves in 2020) and bought Palm oil

Palm oil then was Rm2600 MT and Soyoil also about US 26 sen a lb

Now Soyoil is 46.27 or up 78%

And Cpo is Rm39.64 or up 52%

So Cpo should be well supported at Rm3900 to Rm4200

And Tsh cost of Cpo production as low as only Rm2,000 (Source Email by Vijay of Eagle Group to TSH Management)
So there is 80% to 100% gross profi

Now Brazil flood will impact its soybean production and Cpo prices should remain firm till end 2024

So we stay invested in Palm Oil

Bought long ago 2005 to 2011 still at Old Book Value of Rm4500 per acre (Current price is hundreds of thousands per acre)

Per acre cost as low as Rm4500 an acre (This is Crazy Value Totally Overlooked by Mr Market)

SO WE BUY EVERY MONTH, EVERY YEAR WHILE STILL SO CHEAP

Current NTA of TSH is Rm1.50

If we take just Rm45,000 per acre then NTA will be Rm15.00

And you cannot get Lands in Ikn Now below Rm500,000 an acre

It is Mind Boggling to know its final Value one day
