they are not selling prime productive ones but those that are not so productive to unlock cash

in any case co needs to these 1.pare down debts and borrowings to reduce gearing

2) To raise cash for planting those available lands

The most amazing thing about Tsh is it's 4 estates located in Kutai the new capital of Indonesia

If Rm30 psf the 25,000 acres (just one piece) will be Rm32.7 Billions

Rm32.7 Billions equal to Rm52 a share

Before Sepang and Putrajaya were built lands there were jungle and only 12 sen psf

Today land prices in Sepang is anywhere from Rm150 to Rm300 psf

By buying into Tsh we get to own those lands in Kutai with old book value as low as 13 sen psf

This is like Opportunity time pre- putrajaya time
Those who know history will know this as the best ever opportunity

Both were Bought by Klk when ijmplant was taken private.

Based on Indonesian Law 5 of 1960 on the Basic Provisions concerning the Fundamentals of Agrarian Affairs (Land Law), only Indonesian citizens are able to fully own Indonesian land. The rights of foreigners and foreign investment companies to own land are limited.

Hak Guna Usaha (HGU) is the right to work on land which is directly controlled by the Indonesian state. HGU is granted for a period up to a maximum of 35 years and may be extended for a maximum period of 25 years.

I have to clearify that according to TSH, the deal is expected to be completed in the 1st quarter of 2023. The cash consideration of the sale is 711.66 M out of which 550M will be for loan repayment. 45M for planting, 47m for infrastructure & capital expenses, 50M for working capital and 19.7M for defraying expenses. TSH noted the group is expected to record a pro forma gain on disposal approximately RM400.31 million. If the deal were to be be successfully completed. There is a considerable interest savings on loan from year 2023 unless TSH were to borrow again. (Detailed report please refer to The Edge Apr 04 2022,)

Fantastic, within a couple of years from 1 billlion debt to a positive cash of 309 millions and not counting the milllions more that will come in with the current high prices of palmoil. This is a blue chip in the making. Calvin, please enlighten my ignorance, why did u say that the lands in Kutai are gold mining lands. Did they do a geological study on it?

Regarding Kutai lands being goldmines is only a metaphor to describe it's immense potential value

Long ago there were only jungles and rubber plantation in Sepang until Kl shifted it's admin capital from Kl to putrajaya and since then the lands in putrajaya have turned into high value assets today

So we invest in Tsh early

with CPO price all record high and the demand in CPO, yet not much movement. Unlike gloves in 2020, with similar trend, plantation should have skyrocketed. Unfortunately it didnt cause Bursa market is mainly controlled and manipulated.
