absolutely Nothing spectacular even SAP goes LU to 30cents......it just return to price level 2 year ago.
As a matter of fact, PNB thru Amananh Fund might take this initiative to Sapu 200mil as they Did to Velesto
( many times to pop up price )

most Sap losses are impairment losses ( not cash losses). If Sap losses ( if Real ), Bankers want their money
back immediately ( like SerB ). Look at RSS position by Bankers, Sap is actually at Bottom of Ranking, TopGlove
is Top position

Those who missed the ride to secure 4 cents entry, don’t sulk la. Sapura belongs to government, a bailout is imminent. Already knew this earlier. They won’t let Bumi holdings sink, and election is coming up. MOF special grant is already signalling that Sapura will be back to its shining days. Just watch, see how fast they get back on their feet. Petronas direct award for sure

The vote on the debt haircut is on next week, if Sapura debt restructuring success and gov aid....back to glory is just matter of time with such high gas price. Drilling rate is at record high, this year will be oil sector year.

It has been up more than 100% , I think it worth to goreng and worth to hold...haha

Shares were above 50 cents with that much circulation past several years. I think shark will attemp to push around 20-25 cents in coming days. Folks, this is big, government bailing out, means Petronas will aid on projects and guarantee work.

@moneystar You don't know this company at all. Sapura HAS assets like oil and gas fields that is already producing 40k barrels per day and ramping up to 100k per day in 2 years via their 50% stake in Sapura OMV. In 2019, they sold this 50% share to OMV for RM4b when oil prices were lower. Today it is worth easily RM6b due to higher oil prices. Sapura also has RM7b contracts in hand, 12 tender oil rigs (largest fleet in world) and many many offshore ships. It is the largest O&G support asset owner in Malaysia and 2nd largest in world.

A year ago, Sapura price was 15sen. Two years ago, it was 25sen. When PNB bought in 2019, it was 37sen.

So if helped by government to recover then it could go back to 37sen or even RM4.50 when Sapura was at its peak in 2014 when oil prices were above US$100 per barrel (like now).

@ sailang_now because the RM8.9b losses that they announce was mostly impairment of assets and provisions for losses in contract since cannot operate without cash-flow/working capital - this means the NTA was also similarly written down. It is not operating losses.

Such impairments and provisions can and must be written back when working capital issue resolved.

Such as Airasia X which will write back and announce RM33b in profits this quarter.

Najib : Saya perhatikan harga saham Sapura sudah naik dari 3.5 sen hingga 4 sen ke 7 sen hingga 8.5 sen sejurus selepas debat hari itu.

Namun ianya masih lebih rendah berbanding harga 12 sen hingga 15 sen setahun dahulu dan harga 37 sen yang dibayar PNB pada tahun 2019 semasa bail-out oleh kerajaan PH.

Dan ianya jauh lebih rendah dari harga hampir RM5 pada tahun 2014 ketika harga minyak dunia terakhir sekali cecah US$100 satu tong dan Sapura menjana keuntungan bersih sebanyak RM1.4 bilion setahun.

Jika harga saham pulih, ramai orang biasa yang melabur mendapat manfaat, PNB mendapat manfaat, kerajaan/Petronas dapat mengaut keuntungan amat besar sekiranya mereka membantu dan satu-satunya syarikat GLC antara terbesar dunia milik negara dan milik Bumiputera dapat maju berkembang.

Jika tidak diselamatkan sebab dengki dan hasutan, Rakyat, PNB, kerajaan/Petronas dan negara tak dapat apa-apa pun faedah.

Saya juga membaca berita minggu lepas bahawa pasaran dunia bagi menyewa pelantar penggerudian telah memulih dan kini pasaran sudah hampir sampai ke keadaan "sold out".
