When share prices move up, you hv to look at them with skeptical glasses. Bcause most of the time, they will fall back n trap yr asses.

This one followed capitala late move yesterday. Capitala has hit its peak n will fall in coming days.

Stay away. Tp below 1.50.
Because after this post pandemic travel surge, which wont last, business will return to 2013 - 2019 with more years in losses than in profit. Bcause it is in its business DNA.

As said in my previous posts, upliftment of both AAX or Cap A or none. There is no such thing as one is uplifted and the other one is not ....

Two applications submitted.
*1st application for relief and upliftment
*2nd application for time extension in the event that 1st application is not approved( 2nd application is conditional to 1st application)
*1st application is pending as announced by AAX ,so 2nd application is also pending directly.

Likely outcomes
*1st application is expected to be disapproved. No RP, no upliftment.
*2nd application is largely expected to be approved so its back to square 1.
*Share price is expected to remain stagnant if not depressed until upliftment

*Once you are in the PN17 status, the only way for it to be uplifted is through submission of RP.
*No RP, no upliftment.
*No such thing as automatic upliftment through relief or otherwise.

MGRC is under ACE market and has been granted relief from Guidance Note 3 (“GN3”) of the ACE Market Listing Requirements (“ACE LR”) under paragraph 8.03(A) of the ACE Market listing requirement.

AAX and Cap A are listed in the Main Market. Both are under PN 17 status , seeking relief under Paragraph 8.04(3)(a) of the main market listing requirement.

ACE listing requirement is said to be less stringent than Main Market Listing requirement among other things . Hence it is inappropriate to compare like to like in your citing below.

Earnings for Hong Kong’s Cathay Pacific soar to HK$4.3 billion in first half of 2023

Hong Kong’s Cathay Pacific Airways has reported a net profit of HK$4.26 billion (US$546 million) for the first half of 2023, its first in three years as the city’s flagship carrier moves past the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic in an improving business environment.
The figures released on Wednesday represented a turnaround in performance for the airline and prompted Cathay to announce that it planned to buy back company shares held by the Hong Kong government and purchase up to 32 Airbus aircraft.
“We’ve been cash generative for the whole of 2023 and we’re extremely pleased with the performance year to date. We expect to continue to see a solid performance throughout the rest of the year,” Cathay Pacific Group chairman Patrick Healy said.
