ponpon, go read Alliance research IPO dated 23 Sep 2013. The first investment risk is Loss of major customers. Public was already made aware of the possibility of P3 alliance formation, should take that into consideration when investing in Westports.

FCM100, I did read Alliance research a while back, it mentioned the possibility of losing a major customer, it's merely a possibility, not something that is set in stone.

However the P3 is something that is critical to westport business. P3 issue was a done deal but they made no mention of it, and the market wasn't prepared for it, thus the huge price drop.

At least for instance other IPOs like GASMSIA, mentioned about the tariff change that will halve it's profit prior to listing, so the market was already aware of it.

westport issue is outright disgusting and betrayal of trust, it's an ambush on big and small investors alike.

Memang penipu ini anak beranak lingam hehehe

If westport keep the info from investors, then memang they are penipu big time to con the small player. Otherwise, the cornerstone investors would have bash them.

Based on my understanding about this announcement,maybank ask they dont take any reaction to stabilise the price because it still above ipo price in one month ago. Any person can betulkan sy if i wrong understood?

My limited understanding is the max period for any stabilising activity by maybank is within 30 days of commencement of trading ie 18 Oct - 18 Nov or after they have collected circa 10% of the share offered whichever is earlier.This could mean that ' Maybank will let go of the rein and the horse will be free to run, walk or went to the river and drown..Intresting ehhh?. Nevertheless, i believe maybank has collected enough for the past 30 days and lets the market decide..My gut feeling says, it will jump up and everyone get to profit..inshaallah.

Remember that PNB need to have a profit of not less than 10b a year for divd payout etc2. They will make sure to let it go once the price is right and save some for divd from westport. The issue here is, who are going to push the price up? The foreign investors?..They are nowhere to be seen for the last 3 mths..Local players? They have enough after collecting for the last 1 mth..Just my 0.001 cents thought

STABILIZING MANAGER......still some investors don't understand how SM works. SM will only purchase shares if the price fall to IPO price ,in
the case of WP it is 2.50. During one month of stabilizing period, price never touch 2.50...so Maybank IB as the SM never and don't need to purchase any of WP shares.....

stabilizing manager is appointed normally for big IPOs. karex and caring
are small IPOs....no need to stabilize.

Already posted financial result which is positive, yet cold response from institutional / fund manager. Silap hari.... Drop below IPO price.
The truth is INTEGRiTY is a big question ? Mark about Westport management.
Their 75% dividend is to "pull a wool over investor eyes".
This is last and very last IPO for me. No more.

other IPOs are making tons of money, I gained quite a lot from UMWOG recently, Westport management integrity is highly questionable and consists of liars. Westport IPO is meant to con retailers.

They even dare to invite Najib to launch their pathetic prospectus, and withhold very important info from the public, so what's stopping them from cheating institutional investors?

Good IPO can still make money, don't give up bro..
