Why epf buying? Simple, the contract awarded or jobs have confirmed profit in second half. This bet has much higher reward than risk. Why pnb is selling at above .30? Simply cashing out some of their capital injection with a profit. Anything abive .30 is profit for the right issue cos of free warrant. The bail out was to buy time to wait out the industry recovery.

Go get a copy of edgedaily latest interview with velesto

Velesto boss hinted that Petronas will add 16 to 18 oil rigs alone for 2019 and there are only 6 to 8 rigs available in Malaysia. So velesto has cornered the oil rig market. Longer term for now the prospects of Velesto has brightened.

OK, Uzma will be reporting its quarterly result soon.
With commissioning of 3 oil rigs and decommissioning jobs of 22 oil rigs and many jobs awarded Uzma expected to report better results for 2019 and 2020

While rental of oil rigs according to velesto boss is at at 25% discount Usd70,000 per day (market rate usd100k per day) Uzma is smart to only take up jobs which give a gross yield of 35%

Look at the more positive side lah

1.revenue is up from rm121 mil to rm127 milllions.

2. Petronas already said they will increase oil rigs use for year 2019.
And Velesto owns rest of newer rigs for rent

3. Velesto is better than dayang without impairment from perdana. It is very solvent unlike bankrupt barakah

Any weakness just add more

AND extra cash just buy more Uzma

Calvin bought Pm Corp all the way from 15 sen to lowest at 7.5 sen from years 2009, 2010, 2011 & 2012 till inside Top 30 shareholders

Pm Corp later gave a cash payout of 8 sen

My cost of entry at 15 sen after deducting 8 sen Cash payout is 7 sen

But at the very bottom of 7.5 sen my cost of entry
7.5 sen - 8 sen = Free share plus extra half sen

So many cutloss for Pm Corp at 9 sen but Only a handful of Calvin buddies kept up buying

Pm Corp at 9 sen lasted for years 2010 to 2012

Then in year 2013

Kaboooom

Pm Corp jumped to 36 sen

Up a Whopping 400%

This counter have to invest long term and don't expect the price to fly. We all know this 0.2 to 0.3 range is the bottom but nobody knows when the price will climb. Getting contracts from Petronas is a given thing but more importantly is, when the day rate will go up. If the day rate doesn't go up, nothing will happen to this counter.
