this company is a joke, since its re-listing on 2014, comapny sales keep increasing, right issue twice, and yet share price cant maintain at constant level, 过河拆桥 is IOI group trying to do? take your money to do work, privatise after push down the price.....

You are right beyond the property downturn in 2018, IOIprop will recover, unless in the next 12 months the owner artificially support it, prices are not going to recover soon.

1. it's not the deal slipped away, just the JV cancelled. if this project is handled well alone that means more profit for ioipg
2. owner is buying back thr shares - as least they showed some confidence on it
