Datasonic split 5 since Feb and within less than 2 months it is already more than doubled. History speaks for itself that once it hit above 4, it gaining higher traction. Meaning chances of hitting 8 to 12 with some where along this year few announcement of key big projects, not a problem at all. Fundamental of Dsonic is so strong right? What is CA? At current price of RM0.54 is still dirt cheap. If you are the issuer, will you just watch people buy low and claim cash above RM1 when mother share double or triple by maturity base on its past 1 year track record? CA is all about forward buying right? If you are so confident of mother shares doubling or even triple within next 6 to 8 months, why keep asking people to throw CA which is a much cheaper derivative for majority to buy and keep ? If by Oct Dsonic above RM10, guess what price CA going to be?

Anything below 80cents is consider cheap as mother share hit above 8, CA sure trading between 1.20 to 1.50. Remember I said this now. Invest at your own discretion

If ca rm 1.04 then upon maturity it is rm 10.. mother share is better at this point of time.. mother share rm 10 is 150% gain from now.. but from 54 to 1.04 is less than 100%.. This is the best scenario please bear in mind.. Don't kill yourself and listen to anyone saying CA is cheap. . its expensive.. even if u use Black Scholes Model with the volatility prescribed in the announcement.. u only get 20 cents as intrinsic value. .

Think about this, bank issues this not as charity to give money to all, but to earn money out of it. Do you think the investment bankers didn't calculate the price and volatility before issuing CA? Those who are buying in now at 50cent+ to keep, I wish you all good luck. I am waiting to collect below 20c if there's any, otherwise just skip. i am holding mother shares btw.

Go and study Black Scholes Model like what GogoChiao said. I do a lot of calculations for my daily works too. My last msg here in this thread.

Let me share with you about a year ago, I receive a 50k plus cheque from CIMB 2 weeks after MRCB CW expired. They will use last 5 trading days average price and pay you according to conversion. Yes, is good to buy at lower price like 20 to 30 cents but be realistic, it is history already for now because last Friday it still closed 6 cents higher at 54 cents when Dsonic dropped 2 cents. You have all the right to wait but the market dynamic will determine whether you still can get at those price. Early birds get the good food. Good luck to all .

Hopefully all contra players will throw immediately once market open next Monday and shark will let go so it can go down below 40 cents as I already start queuing between 35 to 45 cents buying 100k unit per bit. Keep it and wait till Oct. cheers

Hi there are so many call warrants around .IOIPG ca , cb and cc . Then coastal -cc all still very cheap and still got 9 months to 1 year to expire . I don't have all these right now but may take a look if the mother shares rise .Last year I made quite a lot of $$$ when I bought UMWOG- CA , CG but all sold in January .Now you see still got 8 months before maturity date , everyday no transaction for all these UMWOG call warrants . So I advise you people to buy low and sell when there is profit .

Let say last 5 trading days before expiry Dsonic traded at RM10.00 average price. So they will use RM10.00. - RM 3.72 divide by 6 = RM 1.046
Let say if you have 50k units of CA, you will get RM1.046 x 50k - 1 or 2% charges of processing fees. So you will get back at least 50k .

But once the bonus 1 to 1 approved and ex at RM8.00 but CA still have 6 months to expire, they will bring down the conversion price according to ex bonus calculation. Normally is very fairly adjusted one.

At the current rate of Dsonic business improving and mother shares speed of moving, I personally believe CA is a good value to invest and a fair value is below 80cents. No promise not commitment to anybody . This is just my personal thoughts thru past experience investing in such a superb company CW. I guess most investors will only start chasing once they see Dsonic move above RM6.00 very soon. By then, CA already way above 80 cents

eric. i cannot say for sure. it may or may not. but at rm 10.00 means dsonic need to grow the "projected earning" to rm 500 million a year to justify. right now is only 1/5 of that n less. would the mkt be so imaginative going forward? thats a 7 billion question.
