In other words the stock price is judged by the temporal fleeting masses short term but over long term the intrinsic value of the stock determines its ultimate value and price

I have no doubt market operators (or syndicates as you like to call them ) are in action. Why Bplant, a plantation stock that had never been in the limelight of operators? It’s on the back of an impending M&A! Operators possess information about the deal .

If you think the best proposal is only $1.20, $1.30 or $1.50 , you better dump your stock now ! Boustead/LTAT will not accept such low offer and hence no deal !
I think a price over $2.00 is only palatable to LTAT.

Don’t be fooled by technical charts which are often ‘manipulated’ by powerful operators for man on the street to believe . Chart can only be trading guide in an efficient market and in stock and market with good liquidity. For Bursa , I have my big big reservation.
Just my view !

Brian, chart is for short term traders who hope to pocket small gain from trading . It is useless for long term investor . I wonder how the chart can tell you an impending M&A or any corporate excercise .

Not all have the same investment objectives as u, u might be investing for windfall, others might just want to have a quick gain. U might think underlying CPO business not important, others might see it as important as it impacts dividend payout, which even if get trap buying high, at least there are sustainable good dividend as consolation without the need of executing exit strategy. U might see LTAT will only agrees if the offer is above RM2, some are happy if it’s RM1.20, RM1.50. If u r so confident in bplant, why wait for 60 sen? Go all in now thn…
