Bond holders are investment syndicates and banks. The interest is in default (about 7 million) small money to them, however if they give notice of default they will need to record the default of the interest plus the entire Bond principle sums (over 1.4Bil), no small sum. They may choose to hold off till after the end of the year reporting cooking their own books to make their books look better than they are. Also, they may choose to leave it till after Christmas, a big mess best left till after end of year bonuses have been paid and after holidays have been enjoyed.

The life and death issues that matter to the company are not resolved quickly. Every day announcing that there are so many new type of business, shown old pic with sultan, shown old pic with minister, bond defaulted. It is not help the company at all...useless..

Now there is an actual default, the agent will need to call for a meeting.
After meeting if holders so decide then an event of default will be called.
To get holder to attend will need a little time to hild meeting.

There is a pattern emerging with media reports of Serba Dinamik. Did you notice that Serba Dinamik's news can be classified into 3 major categories?

1) Digital - Collaborations with various states in Malaysia in addition to a few government ministries in addition to move into AI (Covid detection app and Data Knights).

2) Aerospace - Communication technology (satellite) and Aerospace Hubs

3) O&G - Generic oil and gas and renewable energy initiatives

For a company that is fraught with alleged irregularities with its Financial Statements, coupled with alleged fraud and on the verge of being declared bankrupt, it begs to wonder why news like this continue to surface when it is expected that items 1 - 3 will never take off or would continue as a going concern.

Or why as a matter of fact, various parties continue to collaborate and worst still award grants and contracts to Serba Dinamik.

Begs to wonder.

To let HSBC to settle on SD's behalf.

I believe SD has a RM1 billion facility (which is frozen) and since HSBC is trustee for the bond, SD is of the opinion that HSBC brought it on themselves by freezing SD's facilities.
