Million dollar question is, how many % of Karim's shares are pledged? I think quite a large percentage is pledged and on 9th May I think the bankers will force sell it unless Karim can clear the debt. Which is impossible since he pledge the shares at a high price. Maybe I am wrong, we'll know on 9th May.

Whatever it is, it will not limit up, reason is many wants to leave Serba, therefore the selling pressure will be higher than the buying pressure. Nobody wants to hold onto a:

Fraud Company
PN17 Company
Company on a liquidation process

Bob is right.

Suspension is bad for Bursa. They try to avoid this at all cost.

But the timing is too coincidental. After Creditors file liquidation notice, immediately trading resumes.

My take, its Bursa way to let the minorities escape.

Bankers dont simply liquidate companies. Its very bad for them. Big impact on their balance sheet. Liquidated companies never recover 100% of loan. Mostly get back 20-30%.

For banks to undertake liquidation:
1) They have conducted due process.
2) Checked with market and principals.
3) Looked at the company accounts.

If Bankers no confidence, means the company is lost for sure.

Whether Karim will dump shares is irrelevant.

Even he dumps/sells/lelong, he will not get back a single cent. More likely Bankers will sell his shares for him.

He has at least 10% shareholdings already pledged to the bank. This does not include margin accounts.

Yes, many say karim will take sd private by buying up all the shares, as if after private no need to repay the bond. Karim knows there is no way serba can repay the bond, so why throw good money at a bad situation? Karim cannot even afford the 16m. Most likely limit down on 9th

The worst thing the gov can do now is to let karim and his gang go without a jail term. why? because by doing so, the gov is telling investor indirectly malay run and malay dominated companies can do fraud and get away with it, whereas if it is Chinese dominated they will end up in prison.

bank frozen serbadk`s cash deposit,......that is why they can`t pay bond holder,.........serbadk have rm1.8 bil. inventory,......rm1.6bil. trade receivable,.......if this money are real,.........serbadk should be able to settle bank borrowing & loans

Inventory can turn into 100% cash? LOL… moreover most of the inventories cannot be found:

Trade receivables?? most are detected fake by KPMG and confirmed by EY.
