The question is,

Is it a structural or cyclical decline?

They said profit drop due to supply flowing from ASEAN instead of US due to trade war concerns.

Well, my worry here is, is it this easy to convert or make a refinery that can do what LCTITAN does? Its only been a few months since the trade war concerns really started

How long will it take for this oversupply to end, if it ends?

Does LCTITAN have pretty much no edge? With its only benefit being in a fast growing region?

No idea.

All I can say is, PCHEM will introduce more supply in the coming years when PIC comes online in the coming years. It will be a direct competitor to Lotte.

I have no idea who will win in the long run, but a price war will impact margins, and the company with lowest margins always end up the loser.

I was told that a fire so big it could be seen and heard miles away from pasir gudang has failed to stop the completion of PCHEM complex.

It is still going to be completed in Q4 2019.

This is a textbook case of buying wonderful companies at a fair price and buying fair companies at wonderful prices.

2 bad QR and we do not know how long the bad QR will continue. We also do not know how low it will go because there is no history that we can refer to. That is the scary part! DO not catch the falling knife, remember? Do not try to predict the bottom and buy. Buy only when there is an uptrend.

Definitely panic sale. The result is better than last qtr and price of petrochemical products will only improve from now as the global sentiment is slowly improving. Personally I don't think next qtr will be worst than the current one. With current oversold position, I think it's right time to make a call for long term investment. Definitely not for short term gain

Well done bod and management? Upon listing already criticised lack of integrity. Anyway, poor market sentiment also contributed to current price level. Bod and management just needs to find excuses but continue to withdraw remuneration which may not link to the financial performance.

Share price continue drop due to Panic sell + Big shark purposely pull down the price.
Actually the QR is better then last QR, we can see result is improving from 11M to 55Mbut why still sell down? Why all the news reported profit drop 77% if compare to last year but why didn;t report QR to QR actually improve 500%, profit start to recover...
POS, FGV & BSTEAD big loss for 2 consecutive QR, but why price still above RM1? WHY? WHY? WHY?
Pls think twice before sell/buy.

When it break support line, people will run because they thought it will eventually go to zero. Bad news keep coming. However, people often forget any company will have to have a value.

Some predicted it drops below Rm3.00. When it’s too bad to be true, it’s time to enter. For this reason, misai bought 50k@3.63 yesterday.

No matter how low those biawak pull down the share price, for them it is just a figure. They still control the firm, still receiving salaries, allowances or director fees. But for all ikan bilis, all are money, need money to pick up or settle contra loss or paying interests.
