KLCI 14-6-2016

Primary Trend = down
Short Term Trend = down

Wave A = 1729 - 1628
Wave B = 1628 - 1664

Wave C down likely in process now... a break of 1612 will have a minimal target of 1550.

Current 2 of c will bounce till 1639 before trending lower.
A close above 1665 will cancel off 1550.

Maybank breached its Head n Shoulder pattern in its weekly chart today. The breaking of MTF support level of abt $8.17 should see Maybank below $8.00 to complete is 2nd zig zag to abt $7.7xx

junichiro .. if i compute based on 2nd zigzag pattern, these are what i get :-
1) wave A = 9.6 to 8.18 => 1.42
2) wave B = 8.18 to 9.20
3) wave C = 9.20 - 1.42 = 7.78 (very close to your 7.7xx)

based on today's candle (HLC), here are the pivots support :-
1) S1 = 7.943
2) S2 = 7.887
3) S3 = 7.717

fgv .. supported nicely by 10d ma,today try to crack 200d ma at 1.55...i foresee if able to crack may test 1.7...vol extremely yummy against a weak mkt environment.

I am inserting to my watch list still. Yup....good QR still on as coming quarter CPO price sold was RM2,600........ Gorgeous result intact! but we cant hold due to C8 expiry status

Jake81, if the DAX is green then HSI may be slightly green at close, ~0.2%-0.4%. Else, it just slightly red, drop 0.2%-0.3%.

Jake81, expect no rate hike and a probable rally for HSI tomorrow, can take a day risk to hold Cs overnight. That's no such thing as after dropping for few days then it should be up the next day. We need to evaluate the situation to make decision, it could be continuous dropping for many many days also.

Hmmm, pristine, thanks for advice.
Looking back at dec 16, even after a rate hike, HSI continued to rally from dec 16 onwards till end of year hitting 219xx...I am just not sure if no rate hike what implication it will have on hsi..

After so many days HSI is down and there will not be a rate hike, it is a common sense that most investors will buy low. The short-sellers if don't cover today will bear the brunt of HSI rally tomorrow.

Bursa, it is better go for C21 now for day trade as C20 sensitivity is about 53 ticks whereas C21 is 39 ticks.
