connie....jst waiting for the impulsive waves, u will miss many opportunity to make $$$$.The more complex the corrective waves....more chances to profit.To buy in batches when MM r collecting n to make more bits than others knowing v well u r buying at d bottom. hawkkk .. but i want to ask u somethin' .. if u trade based on HTF trend (since u use wave !!) and are willing to hold your trades, then how come u don't wait patiently for WAVE 5 upleg to unfold first ??? is it NOT risky to keep on averaging down when WAVE 4 is still progressing cuz this bloody wave can turn very complex (double / triple) and then the time decay factor blah blah blah ???

bo .. on 15m u can see 20ma is resisting !!! if we count waves, don't rule out another lapse of w5 meaning now is just w4 rally ... and 1H (this is normally used as HTF trend for day-trade) is still below 20ma and is still within the wave channel ... thus, try to adopt a more conservative approach

thx con, yeah, i am aware of that. i quite chicken brand now. haha, after the wrong c decision. i will make the buy if only few of belows are meet.

1. AO. 15m seems to be forming 2nd peak (1 pt for bull)
2. 20MA & 50MA. 15M, slightly pass 20MA but below 50MA (0 pt for bull)
3. Channel. need to break out 21660, can breakout, (-1 pt for bull)
4. hawk's wave 1 end at 21574..he ignored the wick!! But connie, year ago told me that she considered wick...thus..i no buy C and close all my position for H.

bo .. i think hawk is right !! robert also says the 3 cardinal ew rules are MOST RELEVANT to daily CLOSING data .. which means we shud ignore the wicks ... so, line charts will give us a clearer pic :)

My last message here for 2016...

The biggest and costly mistake a trader can make is trying to catch the bottom... because nobody know when and where the bottom is. A good trader will first study and understand the trend or direction the market is heading before making a call to buy or sell. You don't have to be the leader to make money but a leader is always the first to die when things get ugly. For me, I would prefer to make less but with more certainty than trying to be a dead hero. Just not worth it.

I totally agree with this view. Cos, u only know the bottom in hindsight.
Years back, most of my losing trades are trying to catch the bottom. Suprisingly, all my wining trades are not bought at the lowest prices
