Business Background Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd operates and manages airports primarily in Southeast Asia. Its airports can serve international, domestic, and regional flights. The company has two operating segments: airport operations and nonairport operations. Airport operations generate revenue from passenger service charges, landing and parking fees, and other ancillary charges to airlines. Additionally, it provides leases and collects charges from commercial operations in its airports. Nonairport operations create additional revenue by providing repair and maintenance, hotel accommodations, and, to a lesser extent, agriculture and horticulture. The repair and maintenance activities include consultancy, mechanical, and civil engineering.

This is realistic society, not Wonderland. 18/05/2024 5:58 PM NatsukoMishima What if share price keeps dropping to 5- 6 and the deal fail at last ??? Can it happen ?? 18/05/2024 7:00 PM wang336604 What do I need to do to comment on other people's comments? I hope someone can tell me. 18/05/2024 8:53 PM NatsukoMishima Actually a few failed privatisation deal happened in the few years back , not 100 % will success , sell or hold in your luck or own risks ! 19/05/2024 7:54 AM KiasiPu Natsuko, no risk no gain. If fail privatization, MAHB was still a profitable company. 20/05/2024 11:26 AM raymondroy at this juncture, i believe no way this privatisation can go thru with GIP as a party to the agreement, better for just khazanah and EPF to go alone as 2 parties and take MAHB private.... if they want after that they can sell 30% to whomever they want, but its sour taste already, let this be a lesson for khazanah and epf, next time share your strategy and vision before buta2 make offer and check your bed-fellows first, especially on so called national assets.... :-) peace 20/05/2024 1:03 PM Cipta Please do not sell the airport to GIP, and also consider prohibiting Boeing from landing at KLIA as well, is that possible? 20/05/2024 2:26 PM yilonma watermelon lovers can keep spreading their false narrative about genocide while supporting sexual assault and rape of innocent children and women. i hope this deal goes through, so they can boycott the airports and rot in their hometowns 20/05/2024 4:54 PM raymondroy price shd hover around 10 no need to drop as business is booming and fundamentals intact, in fast as compared to Bangkok airport ..... super undervalued. Last qtr EPS of 16.41 if annualised is 65.64c, and at current price of RM10.... thats PER of 15x which is reasonable if not low.... and revenue will only pick up more here on..... happy hunting :-) peace 20/05/2024 8:26 PM Cipta ultimately MARA, KWAP or LTAT can take up GIP portion. However due to mismanagement and corruption by the previous local elite, Khazanah hv to find other funds now. 21/05/2024 2:28 PM AnthonyAng666 Do they really want to privatize AIRPORT? Share price doesn't go up above RM12... 21/05/2024 7:42 PM Cipta bcoz there are many call warrants. How could small holders win money from the IB ? Call warrants is a gamble, why it is HALAL in Malaysia? 23/05/2024 9:47 AM yilonma bought in another 100k @ 10.00. people who let religion dictate how they make money will never be rich, just like 50% of the people in the comments. you can tell who uses their brain 23/05/2024 1:11 PM GSX1111 Need to liquidate asset, only have enough fund to give those need help eg B40 24/05/2024 8:28 AM AnthonyAng666 @Cipta. Good point. But can't stop traders from spotting the opportunity and buying & goreng the call warrants 😁 24/05/2024 6:57 PM AnthonyAng666 on the other hand, Reuters deems the privatization was due to geopolitical reasons https://www.reuters.com/markets/deals/malaysia-airport-privatisation-deal-clouded-by-protests-over-gaza-war-2024-05-24/ 28/05/2024 9:48 AM James_Bond Malaysia Airport is a monopoly business. Therefore, if we give airport PE of 20 to 25 is fair for such monopoly business. Let’s take the last EPS as the least profit that airport gonna earn for next 4 QRs (we know the EPS would be higher due to new airport tax hike and visa free entry) ie 16 x 4 = 64 cents. As such, PE 15 = 9.60, PE 20 = 12.80, PE 25 = 16.00! Good Luck, comrades! 29/05/2024 9:45 PM James_Bond Time to bring up airport share price to previous glory! May the force be with us all! 30/05/2024 3:35 PM James_Bond Congrats comrades for good airport QR! More upside to go! Revenue ↑ 40+% Profit ↑ 300+% - compared with the corresponding quarter of the year 2023! Revenue ↑ 2.3% (excluding two temporary passenger service charge and airline incentive) Profit ↑ 79.7% (excluding one off gain from GHIAL investment) - compared with the immediate preceding quarter of the year! JV and associates also recorded higher profits! ROE 16+% before tax! All in all, airport business is in right track! Let’s hope we could get higher takeover price than 11 for airport! Cheers! 30/05/2024 9:17 PM KingKKK MAHB's 1Q net profit triples to RM190 mil https://theedgemalaysia.com/node/713699 30/05/2024 10:04 PM James_Bond Comrades, let’s hold airport for 11 take over price! Not going to buy airport anymore. Enough! 31/05/2024 12:13 PM AnthonyAng666 I do grab some at Rm9.88 today. Hope that they don't change the take-over price 31/05/2024 5:27 PM speakup Pmx hype up anti Israel issue so much to rakyat until any small thing related to Israel kena boycott. Pmx had shot own foot 04/06/2024 1:16 PM James_Bond If you don’t know how to invest, just buy airport and pray hard the deal will go through and get 10% cash rewards! Cheers! Current airport share price 10! 05/06/2024 2:56 PM yilonma List of companies BlackRock owns. I hope you dirty boycotters show the same resolve as you do for other boycotts. Microsoft, Apple, Disney, McDonalds, NVIDIA & AMD (Boycott your computers), Facebook, Google, Broadcom & Qualcomm (99% of phones use their processors, so boycott your phones), VISA & Mastercard (Make sure you only use cash or TNG, but not TNG Visa Card), Adobe, Netflix, Pepsico & Coca Cola Co (Boycott all soft drinks), Intel Corp (Speakup talks alot about boycott but blackrock owns his profile picture 😂😂) 07/06/2024 1:19 PM AnthonyAng666 FTC making show only. They are shorties of those big tech companies 🤣 07/06/2024 10:05 PM Syndicates why mcd is still not being shutdown in malaysia? by the time takeover is successful, just dont take any flight, simple as that. like zafrul said, where should the line be drawn? 09/06/2024 12:21 PM DickyMe All this MNC franchise are held by bumis themselves; Nobody cares whether they survive or not. 09/06/2024 12:28 PM Cipta Because some calling boycott or making divide among us are outsider troopers. They don't care about Malaysia. 11/06/2024 11:58 AM GSX1111 the news flow seems quiet recently for Airport. any ideas when will the 1st date of the timeline for approval on the deal ? 12/06/2024 8:32 AM hw0706 Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd said it was notified on Wednesday that one of the four pre-conditions for the RM10.8bn proposal to privatise the airports operator has been fulfilled. 13/06/2024 1:08 PM facsc118 Ambank is the lead adviser for this exercise. Any dealing by Ambank for its client (include the offeror or normal client) in regard to MAHB's share is required to make disclosure. 13/06/2024 3:52 PM GSX1111 Any idea what is the 1st approval needed and the date for this deals to go through ? 14/06/2024 8:43 AM GSX1111 China tourist pouring in starting frm Melaka Fan Bin Bin with 1billion + followers. ..soon breach abv RM11 easily. 17/06/2024 10:09 AM GSX1111 1% come already 10mil tourist, imagine the crowd..soon all entrance counter need mandarin speaking officer 17/06/2024 10:10 AM The_JQuestion even our AIRPORTs is full of politics, be very careful ... this is not something i would recommend to be investing in , stay away... this country is like that , just look how sad most our airport are 17/06/2024 11:13 PM | |
