Business Background Hektar Real Estate Investment Trust is a retail focused REIT. Hektar REIT's principal objective is to provide its Unitholders with a defensible income distribution and to enhance the long-term value of the fund. It invests in income-producing real estate primarily used for retail purposes. Hektar REIT's portfolio currently consists of shopping centres situated in Subang Jaya, Melaka, Muar, Sungai Petani and Kulim.
