"True trader react to the market" is the core of our Operator analysis. Operator Analysis analyze the price and volume of the big boys in equity market, where we currently using our analysis in gold market, Bitcoin and Malaysia market.

We will be sharing education material here such as to become a successful trader & investor, corporate action explanation, the financial instrument in the market you can utilize for your investment and more. We are here to help you understand the stock market.

Many retail investors can’t wait to enter back into KLSE again with the recent rebound in KLCI. From the forum comments, we can see most of us are gaining more confidence about the market rebound especially those glove stocks. More towards the feeling of exhaustion getting trapped in losing trades, it is more emotional driven than rational analysis.

But don’t give up hope just yet, we can look into the market together & see whether this rebound will be sustainable or just a short term bounce up by analysing the big boys intention in the current market. By knowing their intention, we can plan our trade better by making better decisions for a short term or long term and we don’t enter a stock purely based on the gut feel that the particular stocks will have a rebound.

Glove stocks

On 4th of October we posted here saying the manufacturing stocks are showing signs of rebound including the glove stocks. Below is the 5 mins chart of HARTA posted in our previous blog.

https://klse.i3investor.com/web/blog/detail/rns810/2022-10-05-story-h1650055933-Is_Recession_Here_or_is_the_market_bottom_Let_s_see_how_the_Price_Volum

From the price & volume movement  in the 5 mins chart yesterday, it shows high volumes came in during the day with price mark down. This shows the big boys are selling their shares at the high price while most retail investors are cheering for the rebound & thinking the price is trading at indecisive with “doji” forming. But we don’t analyse more details into the daily volume that comes from selling or buying transactions. It is easy to sell now when the retail investors have confidence by thinking many buyers came in with the daily priceup.

The big boys are taking profit by selling down to those retail investors who think the rebound is confirmed. Which means a price peak is here & a short term retrace is on the way. By knowing this, we can avoid getting trapped in the high price & analyse the retrace for any continuation of price up.

Smaller cap stocks attracting buyers

Some of the small cap stocks are showing signs to attract investors with pump-n-dump. The big boys might take advantage of current retail investors’ confidence to sell their shares after the previous price spike.

These stocks have the same price & volume action in their mins chart with high volume but price not moving higher. This shows the price peak is here & the big boys will start to take profit by throwing their shares to the lower price, where the investors parked their buy orders. It is better to stay aside to monitor the upcoming retrace to have a confirmation of any price markup again.

How to trade in the current market?

Although some stocks show price peak signals, some bigger cap stocks have yet to mark the price up from the bottom like the stocks mentioned above. The trades we will focus right will be focusing on those stocks that are showing signs of price bottoming & take advantage of the rebound when there is demand flow in to markup the price, then shift our focus into smaller cap stocks after these bigger cap show signs of price peak.

About Us

Malaysia's stock market is a unique market; hence it requires a customized trading approach to tackle & swerve. Many existing traders in Malaysia apply a plug-and-play strategy from the overseas stock market, but it is not necessarily the best strategy to trade in KLSE. This is due to the difference in local and overseas stock market regulation and the size of market participants of institutional funds & retail investors.

“True traders react to the market.” is the backbone of our trading method. Our findings and strategies are developed through years of trading experience and observance of the operating style in Malaysia’s stock market.
