Dividend maintained the same as last year. Kinda disappointing actually, considering the huge leap in profits over 2017.

based on my gut feeling, this share is oversold. It's still a solid share because it never made a loss for the past 5 years. I don't think it deserves the same poor price tag as FGV. VS has low PE too.

If it falls, is it a buy or sell or neutral? Catch the knife or pick it up after it falls to the ground first?
How would KESM's fortune be in a year's time?
As I've commented much earlier, buy and hodl is for those who believe KESM in the long run while traders better avoid KESM. Its upcoming dividend can only do so much to alleviate the fallen price.

I'm no expert in trading. Personally, I'd say cut if you think you can make back the money lost in another potentially more profitable stock. Cut, if you see no future in the immediate term and unable to hold for a year.

the idea of dividend paying stocks is good. however, as seen in the past, ECS shareholders are very sensitive to quarter reports. one y-o-y quarter with reduction in profits will smackdown its stockprice. still too risky to buy now as I see it.

a stock like DLADY which gives RM2 div yearly is second only to godshare Nestle. DLADY's ROE 120 is also among the best in Bursa. You win by buying & holding it for years.

stock will rise. best quarter in years, in fact best fiscal year in years.

I agree that in very short term, eg the coming weeks or months, GENM's earnings and prospects will adversely affect investor's confidence.
I also agree that from now to the longer term (5 years and above), youngsters would not want to go Genting to gamble when there are online options. Stockmarket and cryptos are all the rage now. Most gambling kakis in Genting are the 40-70s people, according to my friend who works as a croupier.
The point is, whether you are a short term trader or long term trader. If short, nxt few weeks will be good bargain hunting opportunity.
If you want to hold for several years, GENM might not be such a good stock when there are other better options available.

inari would never break RM1. that figure is way too cheap.
