i am still here, Matthieu. Just to inform everyone that, i still did not sell any shares for the past few weeks.

some shares are destined to be low PE. If outlook is bleak, low PE is justified.

so again, like Orna, i am the only one who still have confidence in this counter?

At the moment, there are no other products that could challenge some of Nestlé's products, like Milo. That's the moat factor.

@raider, you still haven't sell your HY?
2018-03-10 15:06 | Report Abuse
i am still holding HaiO for long term. What convinced me is the dividend.
2018-03-06 22:27 | Report Abuse
Dear Mr KYY, if you are reading this, i would suggest either HaiO or Yee Lee.
2018-03-06 22:16 | Report Abuse
KYY already left. So who is willing to push up a counter with vulnerability of earnings? Just move on to some better counters is a viable choice. I can see Heng Yuan breaking RM10 support very soon. Might be even tomorrow..

long time did not see such a good article. Thank you.

the boom of e-commerce will continue to spur Orna's growth. The only concern here is how well can the management tackle the rising prices of raw materials. Other than that, this counter is a safe bet in the next few years too.

what a good result. The closure of stores in West Malaysia was a correct move.

I know it will be a loss. But did not expect such a huge loss..

In my opinion, a good company should be able to pay dividend to its shareholders. A basic requirement to me.

so am I the only one being optimistic? haha..

If you could hold long, this counter has a very good prospect.

When >90% of the commenters DO NOT agree with your views or opinions, you termed them as cyber-bullies.. this is pathetic..
Did you do a self-reflection? You are NOT here to discuss share investments as claimed by you, but only interested in picking up fights with other commenters.

Good result. Got the economic moat. Congratulations to all Nestlé shareholders.

Mr Tan, from now onwards, it would be better if you could include the link where you quote this piece of news from. We do not know if this piece of news/article have been altered again by your goodself or not; like the one below:-
http://klse.i3investor.com/blogs/kianweiaritcles/147665.jsp
i still could not find this sentence from the original source where you had you quoted "The steel imports included Malaysia."
2018-02-17 20:18 | Report Abuse
The words did not come from Reuters' mouth. Any amendments should be stated clearly.
2018-02-17 20:09 | Report Abuse
When an article was quoted from somewhere, the contents should not be modified at all, not even a single word.
2018-02-17 20:08 | Report Abuse
did they mention Malaysia's name? I still couldn't find it.
2018-02-17 19:50 | Report Abuse
that article was posted by Tan KW and quoted from Reuters. But i couldnt find it in Reuters. i found it from other sources. It was without mentioning Malaysia's name. Can Tan pls post the link where it is quoted from? This is to prevent fake news from spreading around.

Heng Yuan was the best example recently. So many was slaughtered. Operators have already left. Hardcore promoters also not many around. What left are those who still believe in this fairy tale.

anyone got stuck in steel counters? As US steel counters rallied, bad news for ours.

Nope. I am not here to whack Calvin. Just sharing opinions. I only whack conman CP Teh and his other dogs. I like Calvin for his unselfish sharings. I am sure we both agree to disagree.
Happy CNY 2018.
2018-02-16 10:46 | Report Abuse
this is naive lah Calvin.
When Warren Buffet buys a stock, he has his own intrinsic value. When Mr Buffet says his favorite stocks, which means those high quality stocks that he is holding right now being battered down. Hence, he will not hesitate to top it up. This only applies to good fundamental stocks (we know Mr Buffet only holds fundamental stocks).
You bring up rubbish counter PrkCorp for what? A loss making company, which does have a moat factor at all. It shot up bcos certain individuals promoted and speculated on it. When downturn happens, it will not recovered; unlike those stocks held by Mr Buffet.

@bluebiznet
During that time when DAP promoted PAS, it was under the helm of Nik Aziz. A lot of PAS leaders are from moderate group. When Nik Aziz passed away, the structure of PAS changed tremendously. Under Hadi Awang, this guy is more on Umno’s side. Hence, DAP was right to severe the relationship when PAS violated a lot of Pakatan Rakyat Common Policies Framework.
What about MCA ? They still dance with the world most racist political party Umno. So, stop harping on the issue of DAP strengthening PAS, unless you know the true situation.

Not too volatile like Heng Yuan. One quarter can post big profits, the next quarter could down by as much 50% or even loss.

Agree that sustainability earnings are the key to a company's growth path. As long as it is not volatility.

There's actually no improvement in its results. I would say stable and within expectations.

Does anyone knows that only 1 Parliamentary seat that was won by MCA is Chinese majority. The others are all Malay majority seats. How would a raced-based party like MCA claiming to be representing the Chinese voice?
When Mr Koon Yew Yin wanted to donate RM30m to build a hostel around UTAR, MCA rejected it. So is this for the benefit of the Chinese community or their cronies pockets?
The writer's intention is malevolent, DAP had never thought of ruling conquering Putrajaya alone. It just couldn't do it. Perhaps the writer needs to attend some math classes as to how a party contesting less than 60 parliamentary seats would able to do that. It shall be done with the other component parties of Pakatan Harapan.
When there is a shift of power, the Malays will still rule this country - minus Umno.

so it seems we have to seek the permission from @More2It first before we criticize someone. Especially when it comes to his idol - CP Teh.
Otherwise, we are deemed to be rude and bad manners for barging into someone's "house". But he forgets this is cyberspace. Everyone is entitled to his/her opinions. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.
On the one hand he says he is here to focus on investments, but on the other hand he is picking up fights with other i3 forumers for ridiculing his idol. How conflicting he is.

The revenue is within expectations.
The profit is above expectations.
The icing on the cake here is of course the unexpected announcement of 2nd interim dividend. This shows the cash flow of HaiO is very strong. Very generous too.
