Fundamental wise is not changing... Yet it still record breaking... Currently panic selling mostly come from those contra players etc etc... 2017 will be the full year for Philippine to contribute... Probably another double digits t growth figure for the company...
My two stocks have teamed up unbeknownst to me lol: "CIMB Group Holdings Bhd and GHL Systems Bhd have teamed up to provide card payment services for CIMB's corporate clients in Thailand's retail and services segments via the parties’ Thai subsidiaries, CIMB Thai Bank Ltd Bhd and GHL (Thailand) Co Ltd"
Samsung pay, maybank pay and pin & pay are starting. Cashless just around the corner. No doubts the pe is on the high side, but double digits growth should be able to justify.
Keep speculation aside, congratulations to those still hold when ghl at bottom... I still remember several members here keep critise this counter overpriced etc... They're the classic example of weak holding power... Cheers...
Alibab will introduce Alipay in Malaysia and signing contract with 2 local banks (Tiger + Octupus).
While all of the chasers are focusing on logistics, GHLSYS could be one of the beneficiary of launching Alipay in Malaysia. With the success story & experience in Thailand, GHLSYS can replicate it faster and work together with Aplipay :)
Brahmal is the top 30 largest shareholder as well....
I'm know little about e-payment business, but anyone in the forum could advise that is Alipay is in competition of epay ? or there is news of Alipay to team up of epay in malaysia?
Ghl is not all about epay... Huge chunk come from tpa... If you understand this you will know that ghl terminal merely a platform for all sort of e payment... Cr card Dr card, nlc payment etc...
I was the auditor to GHL, it's strength and specialisation don't really need to count on Alipay system, Alipay contract is just a bonus added to its biz
The market has been waiting for some thing like Alipay for a long long time.
Finally, Malaysia can be independent from being colonised by Visa who takes a cut out of every transaction . I think Alipay is at a much lower commission.
Why Alipay need Ghl? They have everything, on merchant side...bank will cover. Alipay aims to be next Mastercard/Visa....as for local...bank will cover their infrastructure. Ghl just acquiring for bank (certain bank) and provide last miles connectivity to terminal.
As for Online payments...certainly Ali will use their super canggih systems with ability to process in great volume per second.
Go and understand the business model in Thailand between Alipay and GHL, then you shall have a clearer picture. Can get the information from the attachment above.
Basically GHL is a third party acquirer for CIMB bank and Maybank in Malaysia. GHL is the middle person between the merchants, alipay and banks.
