If not mistaken, someone informed this forum of the position of Freddie Lim within the global Gold trades. With his commercial exposure, wonder why he is recruiting people from his plantations to assume crucial top executive positions. The undermining factor is those new top executives are coming from organizations with weak historical performance, thus reflecting on their ability and track record. Hope he is not creating Bahvest as refuge for people due to family ties or indebtedness, who have not managed to run companies profitably and sustainably, and whereby these companies are on the verge of caving in, towards liquidation. Surely, cost wise, better off to hire professional related people to the type of business at hand rather than carry the liability of those proven to be mediocre. Really, perhaps what goes on in the mind of Freddie could be the eighth wonder of the world. Anyway, that's as far as i can comment, because ultimately that's his money and that's his business.

People in this forum. I am not bashing Bahvest nor am i providing a gloom and doom picture of a future hopeless entity. There are still many plus points pertinent to Bahvest, but fair comments must be made to exercise vigilance and care, and indirectly to provide explanation for the organizational dynamics. @kk7198... I always find career advancement opportunities in the UK are far better than Australia. Tax rate are high but Australia is even higher. Irish passport are better as they can travel into EU without filling forms. Great place to travel... but not so currently though. Weak ringgit again

@ moonslayer274, I beg to different. Golden Sixty is the best race horse and ruled HK turf in 2023. He was injured and could not take part in ytd Gold Cup, 2nd leg of HK tdiple crown. The 1st leg was won by Voyage Bubble in the absence of Golden Sixty and Romantic Warrior. Romantic Warrior won the Australian Cox Plate where many countries participated. He held on and won narrowly beating Mr Nice Guy.

You are right youarewelcome88. What happen today is cause by previous government. We only hope it can be rebuild but it will never be easy and many will not be happy especially those who already in comfort seat. Also bribery have become habit and this is where the goverment will have very huge challenging task. For me, I prefer on Tun M era where no bantuan to people except from subsidy. People are more independent not like today. Only I dont like the fact that TunM not put more development on Swak. Today, under Abg Joe, Swak have more plan to developt. Taib era have end. Tok Nan have left hugh bench mark for Abg Joe to drive Swak into economical development and social stability.
