Contract is on, they already know it,and deal is one of the fund wants at 1. 46 and 1.47, after enough collecting then news will come out... One of big fund collecting right now as many as they can since price are cheap.Today dont want to push the price up yet.... This deal already on talk last week when price drop suddenly to 1.47 on friday.AFTER THIS GONNA FLY. This is Just my opinion.

My Eg & Gpacket like abang adik lots of news but jln mcm kura2...up a few cts then tumbang balik...volumm mmg banyak....everyday ppl start trading wt high expectation...but many ended exhausted fr waiting n ended for wt empty results

MYEG has proposed to continue the authority to buy back up to 10% of their shares. KWP and EPF has been collecting. I think this is a positive sentiment by the company and authority regarding their contract renewal and performance in the coming year.

Gpacket cannot be compared in the same boat as MYEG.

Gpacket had been losing money in eight out of the last 10 years., cumulative losing about RM 550 mln of share holders money over that period ! ! Not so long ago, its CEO said that Gpacket might be able to turn profit making in one to two years time. I think it is more like a "Goreng" . Multiple release of News written and paid in news media (like Star Business) served to excite the market leading many investors to butcher house. We need to ask the question why such important business news were not announce at their
official Gpacket Company website , under news media release, nor they announced in Bursa Malaysia. I think it has to do with avoiding legal liability. News released in Newsmedia were " forgotten" pretty soon !

Nobody knows for sure if government will continue with the contract. All news are merely speculative or you may called it wild guess. And there are now a competitive sinotop which previously owned by Taiwanese but now the major shareholders are Bumi. If you guess right you're winner. If guess wrongly that's a risks of selling.
