One of madiba's parameters just occurred - director acquiring significant amount of mother shares at a relatively high price (15million shares at 29sen - to be used as a trading block?). The director also disposed 20million WA at 18sen (to be used as a trading block by others?).
Note that all the above is just speculation but I am certainly taking delivery of all MPay stock that I purchased over the last 2 days even though it is slightly higher than today's prices.
This is not a buy or sell call - please use your own judgement.
madiba - main shareholder buying a big amount of mother shares at a much higher price than your average. a lot of zakat funds should be coming to you to help others!!!!
15 m shares done at 0.29. Currently trading at tight range 0.300 - 0.325. What does that imply? From my viewpoint, still a lot of upside( disclaimer: trade at your own risk).
Today should be clearing T+3 players - so don't expect a spike. Rather look at support levels(mother 31.5 to 32sen and WA 22 to 23sen)and see if it is well supported with large volume shares being accumulated here.
The US markets drop looks like a controlled drop ie drop 1%, recover 0.5%. Yesterday dropped 2%, perhaps it will recover by 1% over the next 2 trading days.
I think the FEDs want a 5% correction in total but a drop of 5% in one day will obviously destroy confidence and perhaps lead to an even bigger 10% correction.
It is expected once the correction is completed that the S&P can breach 2000 and perhaps hit 2045.
hi mpayians... i am new here and hv read through this forum...thank you to all the good investors who have been sharing their opinions and thoughts here, providing a good guidance...thank you...i hv bought some mpay-wa shares...is it worth holding the WA as the director has disposed quite a number of them? I am confused and worried...could someone please advice on this... :(
Didn't you read Madiba posting?? Quite a bit risky in buying warrant as it is out of the money and it will mature next year. It is quite difficult to advise you here!
Sorry just pop in to check the latest. Am still travelling.
Good news on Mr Chew's purchase but a deeper analysis is required as to who sold him the block? Buying the mother share and selling the warrants seems a good hedge on his part given that the warrants pricing are looking stretched as he affirms his confidence in his own stock. It is always a good sign to see owners buying their own stock but we need to analyse also where it came from.
If it was from the market or from Dato Dahlan I will be very worried on two counts:
1) Mr Chew is already holding in excess of 30% and cannot possibly buy any more from the market without triggering an MGO@33% since he controls the Board. In this scenario the upside is limited because he has to stop buying or else he will trigger an MGO at 29 sens.
2) If it was from Dato Dahlan I am even more disturbed because that means the Bumiputera is exiting and that is bad news since we are expecting them to deliver the TRS contract.
Lets hope its none of the above and the best case scenario is Mr Chew bought it from Mr Chan instead. We all know what happens to the stock whenever Mr Chan sells don't we. It pops upwards soon after.
Given the heavy delivery seen today and also anticipated on Monday in light of jittery overseas markets it is assuring and confidence building that Mpay tested the support @ 31 sens (as highlighted earlier in my last analysis dated 09 April) and closed at 32 sens Friday today. Week on week it has risen 8.5% this week after rising 13.5% the previous week. Looks like its building up to a fantastic month of April as anticipated. More to come I believe.
If it is proven that Mr Chan sold to Mr Chew and the stock holds up on Monday above 31 sens closing do expect the rally to continue upwards later part of the week. Support levels @ 31 sens and 29 sens respectively. Target 35-38 sens intact unless support levels broken and or the above (1) or (2) occurs.
I am off to Shanghai this weekend. Take care everyone!
