Proton has reached a new high in terms of sales, selling 9,501 units of cars in August alone, the highest figure it has seen since July 2015 (36 months ago). Good day Sifu, I need guide on DRB-Hicom Call warrant(C-warrant).

1. After maturity date the call-warrant, the value of c-warrant will be zero ? would the bank pay us back at any base price?

2. For DRBHCOMC63 . current price is 0.115, and conversion ratio is 4.5, means 0.115 * 4.5 = 0.512, and sum up with exercise price = RM2.5, means this call-warrant exercising the price of RM3.01 ? since current mother share price is RM2.2, from this huge gap does it means buying mother share is more worth ?

3. What are the benefit to buy Call-warrant ?

C48 settlement price is base on 14/9-21/9, mother should hover around 2.3-2.4 at that period. menas it worth 0.04. the closer to Oct, the higher the mother. but, very high risk!

Tmr is ex-date of DRB. Will be traded 3c less than closing price of Rm2.10. i.e. Rm2.07. DRB is badly oversold although Research Banks upgrade its target price. C48 could be the main reason bcoz of its Exercise price of Rm2.20.
