I believe just starting, more to come.

from the announcement made by PM on 5 June, the newer price list only out in subsequent week, so actually the impact of sales rebate only taking place in 2nd half of June.

So actually the push up of sales due to PENJANA is just taking pace in 2nd half of June, with such a surge in sales for whole month of June really surprise to all.

Can imagine the full month impact starting from July onwards, the sales figure may highly likely to overtake June figures.

X50 would be out in Aug/Sept, believe there is another boost by the time. Looking for it.

Interest rate my drop again? who benefit?

(吉隆坡3日讯）《路透社》调查显示，经济学家普遍预期国家银行下周将再降息至少25基点，以减轻冠病对经济造成的冲击。

在接受调查的12位经济学家中，有7位预测国行会在议息会议上将隔夜政策利率（OPR）调低25基点至1.75%，另外两位更预期降幅可能高达50基点。

其余5位经济学家估计国行将保持2%指标利率，以观察连续3次降息的经济效应。

国行下周一将召开为期两天的第四次议息会议。

在第一季经济成长减缓到0.7%后，国行曾表示，我国正处于“前所未有的经济危机”中，并预期第二季经济将萎缩。

Price shooting always start from slow to fast. Slowly and steady up now is a good sign, at least it's still at a preliminary stage prior to big up.

The chart looks good on up trend now. 2h of 2020 just started there is still plenty of room for this counter to go further, which is benefit from penjana and post-mco.

（吉隆坡6日讯）政府豁免汽车领域的销售与服务税（SST）之举料刺激需求增长，分析师预计，国内汽车销售在下半年获改善，并看好宝腾（Proton）和第二国产车（Perodua）引领汽车行业增长。



大马投银研究指出，鉴于国内新冠肺炎（2019冠状病毒疾病）新确诊病例逐步减少，且大多数企业已恢复运营，预计汽车领域在下半年内强劲复苏。

同时，在短期国家经济重建计划（PENJANA）下，本地组装汽车（CKD）和整装进口（CBU）新车可分别扣税100%和50%，所有汽车价格预计下跌1.1%至6.5%，因此下半年的汽车总销量（TIV）将看涨，全年预计达56万5000辆。

该行认为，税务豁免是明智之举，因2018年的汽车价格也在6月至8月份的“零税率蜜月期”期间全面下滑3%至5%，刺激销量按年和按季分别增32%和42%，至19万8500辆。

同时，宝腾和第二国产车的汽车价格在扣税后更为实惠，因为这两家公司的产品均是本地组装汽车。

“由于宝腾和第二国产车的产品阵容和性价比与同行相比更具吸引力，相信它们将在下半年继续引领汽车行业的复苏。”

该行维持汽车领域“增持”评级，同时维持多元资源（DRBHCOM，1619，主要板工业）“买进”评级，合理价2.49令吉，MBM资源（MBMR，5983，主要板消费）也同为“买进”评级，合理价4.62令吉。

Why is the target price (TP) for this stock all over the place? None of them seem to agree what DRBHCOM should be valued at.

Time yet to come. Guess sept - Nov will be the time for this stock when x50 out and expected 3rd quarter financial results would be fantastic compare to first half. By the time only everyone will start to notice and talk. Now everyone still focus on glove and IT stock. Now is good time to buy and park here before it shooting.

X50 cannot be 40k la. Selling price is estimated about RM79,800 to RM103,800 (https://paultan.org/2019/08/26/2020-proton-x50-suv-everything-we-know-so-far/)

Everyone is looking at glove and IT counter now. Once the heat is over the funds will eventually switch to other sector, Automotive sector is worth to look at start from now before too late.

40k is impossible, but i estimated 60k-70k cuz its impossible to more expensive than hrv. people will choose hrv instead of x50. but i still wont buy x50, cuz u look the quality of x70 is so bad compare to my 2018 crv.

surprisingly you said that, my friend surrounding me all were saying X70 worth buy as they gave good quality with such pricing Can see many X70 on the road too. Abt 30k diff compare to CRV, so cant expect it as good as CRV.

IB gets more realistic car sales lor without ehailing?

After all klci and s&p hit resistance d.. will be downtrending first. Earnings also coming out soon. Should be bloody cause car sales less than 7% in q2 i think. Thats why gov immediately place tax breaks fyi..

Bear market will start once the stimulus euphoria fades, all left with bag holders d... Good time to see if we are over exposed to a sector and rebalance our portfolio.

If you dont have foreign stocks exposure. European stocks looks promising :p

Who is still holding? As I said earlier triangle break out soon and it did. Resistance 1.85 also break and now towards next resistances. 2.00 soon is coming, it's party time.
