MRCB is manipulated by the biggest syndicate in the country...and it is a big play...mega-size play and to move something this big..it will take time ...example when up...will be up for sometime...not one two day affair...same goes when down / correction...it will continue for quite a while

share placement is a good way to reduce debts especially when the bad time comes. Also, increase in Bumiputra shareholding will give MRCB a better stand in other upcoming project as the budget is targeting at bumiputra friendly.

I view it as a positive move and just my 2 sen

according to analyst views, share placement is to ensure that MRCB remains a Bumiputera controlled GLC..lets not see it from a racial point of view but look at it from the business perspective. it will be good for MRCB as they stand to be the major beneficiary of Gov projects that require bumiputera status. means the shareholders, both bumi & non-bumi will get to enjoy the benefits :)

People think that private placement below the market value is negative to the share price, and on top of diluting EPS per share. Short term impact on share price is unavoidable but it will benefit in the long run.

Positive for full taken up of private placement, which shown that the major shareholders are positive on the development of the company but expect some impact of the share price in short term.

I think RM1.24 is a fair price for private placement at this moment, especially at the current share price, don't you think?

If that news is bad sure today the share price will plunges badly.. But fortunately the price is stable and still got some supports..

What if the shares placed out at 1.24 and the investor, though not allow to sell immedaitely to realise the gain..may enter into some derivatives private agreemnt to lock in the gain ? I heard shit like this can be done if got jalan

still holding some....contemplating whether to sell or hold ?
