Ex mean 除权but not yet get dividend yet... entitlement is you get your 20.5sen dividend

ding9007 If sell on 3 July (ex-date) you still get your dividend.
But, if you buy on 3 July (ex-date) you WILL NOT get your dividend.

@ding9007 the price of any counter will be adjusted on the ex-date of the entitlement of the dividend announced. Payment date to your bank account will be at a differentt date.Had also been explained by @The_Reds.

If Monday is ex-dividend then you no get dividend when you buy on Monday.

If you buy today which is the last day cum-dividend you don't have to hold until 5th July to get the dividend. You can sell on Monday and still get the dividend eventually.

xuewenapeng, don't be sad. You can buy fresh @ price-adjusted entry to capitalize on the 32 sen cash repayment. It's still not too late. Better Late than Never.
