Could be in May. Since you are buying at such low price you are safe. But always keep a Cash Buffer. Don't over extend your self. You must control your investment and never allow yourself to be controlled by your investment.

I bought yesterday, last night cant sleep well with this counter... so today, I just cut loss, better not take this type of risk. If go up let others make money, because if cannot fly I might even lose all my money invested in it. Better to potentially miss a boat than potentially lose all my money.

Show,

It's OK if you don't feel good. Better sleep well than to be troubled if you are not sure. Invest according to your level of endurance.

As for me I will still accumulate on weakness.

If YOU KNOW THERE IS NO FEAR AT ALL.

someone posted a few day ago when you show the low and highof KARAMBUNAI CORP BHD share price

what is your comments re: capital reduction? after accounting for capital reduction, is the current share price of 6.5 sen considered nearer to the low? i have to admit i have dont no research on this counter

-------
calvin, have u missed out that kbunai did a capital reduction in 2013 ? meaning even at highest peak of 29sen, it is actually only about 5 sen. now at 6 sen, kbunai is actually at about 1 sen only at its peak. With rights issue after that, it is even worse. IF kbunai continue to make loss, once NTA goes into negative, PN17 or failed to pay its huge debt, PN1... you are doomed, because next will be suspended and delisted.

You should look at the assets of kbunai

Nexus Karambunai 900 acres land still at old book value of Rm10.30 psf
Sepang 1300 acres at Rm2.70 psf
Kota Kinabalu 87 acres land also at Rm2.70 psf

Once Bursa change rules and require compulsory revaluation Kbunai real value will appear

Posted by verbatin1969 > 2015-04-15 13:39 | Report Abuse

calvin, thanks. i know i shd be looking at the underlying physical assets. but i also want to know the current price range. is it nearer the low after accounting for the capital reduction?

I don't think those land are very valuable, they are all leasehold and most of them are not suitable for property development, underwater. If you think they can sell their land, I doubt so because FACB will sooner or later take over those land from Kbunai.

Kbunai has about 6 billion shares, to even make 1 sen profit, kbunai needs RM60 million profit, Kbunai 9 month revenue is only RM48 million, full year cant even cross RM60 million revenue, how to get RM60 million profit ?

So, a full year 1 sen profit is impossible for kbunai, u see this company got hope or not ? That is even after Malaysia Gov pump in RM100 million in 2010 to help them and later rights issue for cash and capital reduction... yet still doing so badly. The resort is so huge, needs a lot of money to maintain, I doubt they can ever make a profit.

If depends on business performance for share price to go up, impossible. If goreng, also almost impossible because kbunai shares has become too huge to goreng. Last time in 2010 still can but now impossible with 6 billion shares.

one word for kbunai... NO HOPE

No hope? Under water?

Greenland of Shanghai bought Tebrau Teguh land (part submerged under water) for rm426 psf. The Tebrau River is darkish and filthy. Karambunai is pure paradise.

look at the Big Picture

kbunai at 6.5 cents x 6 billion shares equal rm390 million total capital value. Just Sepang land of 1300 acres if sold at only Rm7 psf will be more than Rm400 million to cover the capital

The core of Karambunai is the 600 acres Seaside Resort lands. They carry a 999 leasehold title which is equivalent to freehold. In Medini of Iskandar all lands are leasehold. Yet they command premium prices by virtue of its location.

FACB control karambunai, why should FACB let karambunai sell the land, better take over the land and sell it under FACB, Karambunai sell land, have to share with 6 billion shares, sell it under FACB, FACB gets everything.

Posted by verbatin1969 > 2015-04-15 17:03 | Report Abuse

but you mention it is now nearer to the low which isnt true if you factor in the capital reduction.

it is common for stocks to trade at substantial discount to book value. there are tons of them on Bursa. for e.g one of your favourite mulpha also trade at discount but at least mulpha is making money. karambunai don't make money for many years. and to admit i didnt check what is the discount to book value?

See 11MP East Mslaysia shares like KKB , CMSB and NAIM?

you are hoping for Najib to save Karambunai ? what if he does nothing ? A good company does not need saving. I doubt it will happen again because last time in 2010 already spent RM100 million with no improvement. This time 6 billion shares, I doubt it will move.

1. najib wont do anything for karambunai
2. between facb and karambunai ... they are both same lar ... u dun wan karambunai .. then dun buy facb. If u like facb, then u should collect karambunai
3. if u are not sure about either one of the two, then dun buy either one at all
4. klse got a lot of other good potential companies, some still selling at under-value price for eg. PRKCorp below RM 3.00, PMCorp at 24 sen. MNRB at RM 3.60 ... so why must crack your head over Karambunai or FACB which hold karambunai and share same list of directors ? Follow leno's proven MANTRA - Simple is the Best

Leno,

All 3 Stocks MNRB, PERAK CORP & PM CORP ARE GREAT STOCKS!

I once owned MNRB because it gave a nice 10% dividend yearly. Perak Corp was my favourite which I bought at 60 cents when no body wanted. PPM Corp? Bought between 9 to 13 cents. Still holding after 7 years. PM Corp is ? Hmmm? Too precious for words.

Now Why I Highlighted Kbunai?

You see, different people got different investment style. Just like Orang Utan & Panda Bears Have Different Diets. Pandas Only Eat Bamboo leaves While Orang Utan eats both leaves & fruits.

And The Orang Utan eats a large variety of fruits. And Fruits don't ripen at the same time. So the trick is to know which tree will bear fruits next. And it takes lots of skill for Orang Utan to know the order of the jungle. It has survived for centuries.

Same between Warren Buffet & Peter Lynch. While Warren keep to a portfolio of less than a hundred shares Peter has over 2,000 counters.

To each his interest & hobby. For Me I like Peter Lynch above all else

Warren, I about to turn off my computer. I based the figure from past year prices.

In year 2006 year low was 3 cents and year high was 19 cents
Then I think in year 2011 year low was 11 cents and year high was 29 cents.

So I think in these 2 years price is possible to touch 39 cents.

I bought Pm Corp at the lowest of 7.5 cents in a time when people thought Pm Corp will go bankrupt. Pm Corp touched a high of 37 cents recently.

So to me nothing is impossible. All things are possible. ONLY believe.

Good night

Today

I spoke to one guy in Iskandar Stock Market. I said, "The Tebrau river is darkish, dirty and muddy, yet Shanghai Greenland bought land from Tebrau Teguh for Rm426 psf".

He quickly retorted, "Rm426 per sq ft? It's cheap!"

Ha! This filthy Tebrau river is so polluted even no one dare to swim in it. Last time nobody want to buy it for even rm8 psf! The game changer is China!

So is kbunai! The game changer for this pristine paradise will be China, HK, Taiwan, Korea and Japan!

Cost price now Rm10.30 psf

Who knows?

Someday can sell for rm500 psf

Why not?

Singapore Sentosa rm7,000 psf

Iskandar Waterfront (Stagnant water due to causeway) rm1,000 psf

Korea Jeju Resort At rm2,000

So Karambunai freshest paradise at rm500 psf
Very possible.

Things can change. Nothing is static. Even Spore sell landed property to Foreigners on Sentosa Island. And His Royal Highness The Sultan of Johor Sold Lots of Lands to China Developers & Also To Spore. Even Reclaim Lands from the sea to sell to China Developers.

Look at it this way or think out of the box.

China is polluted by Smog in Beijing. HK is polluted by the Smog of Pearl River Delta. HK also hit by frequent typhoons. Taiwan got earthquakes. Korea subjected to devastating typhoons. And Japan is the worst! Blasted by typhoon, shaken by earthquakes, drowned by Tsunami!

And Burnt by Nuclear Radiation Fall Out the Japanese are fleeing to Taman Molek & set up Mini Japan in Iskandar. You can see "Japanese Onsen" right in front of Molek Pines condo.

If Sabah opens Karambunai lands for sale - All these Foreigners Will Go GaGa over Nexus Karam Brunei

Brunei? Yes! Brunei & Sing Dollar has same parity.

RM1 is now less than 0.37 cents. For People of Brunei & Spore Karambunai is VERY, VERY, VERY CHEAP!

Sentosa Island is RM7,000 psf. Karambunai lands have book value of only RM10.30 psf. Really unbelievable pricing.

Good morning,

WarrenLim,

Whether I bought a lot or little or didn't buy any is immaterial. What is important is what I say is true or not. If what I brought out & highlighted is true then all who bought early will be buying a gem & then make lots of money.

I only bought a little (too little to mention) of Ipmuda at 70 cents. In only weeks Ipmuda went Limit Up and doubled in price to cross RM1.50. But My Joy Knew No Bound! The Joy of Being Right at the Right time!

Leno,

Good, bring out your one thousand and one sharing on Karambunai. I have heard stories all my life. Mr. Lee & his "expert" Remisiers told hm one thousand and one reasons why he cannot and must not buy Perak Corp at 60 cents. They said (they are from Lumut, Sitiawan & Ipoh - so what would I know about Perak Corp so faraway in Singapore) in Perak only Old Old People are left. Majority of Young & Talented People have all left Perak for KL, Singapore or overseas. So no hope for Perak. I told them that Perak Corp got Casuarina Hotel. They said the hotel is always empty.

I told them about the 1,000 acres land near Lumut Naval Base. Ha! They threw scorn. "Naval Base?" Got bombs & guns too." Useless & dangerous place!

Think on it

Prkcorp shoot up to 1.30 whereas my Leader shoot up to RM 1.00 ... hahahahah .. then i sell and buy PRKCorp at 1.30 all the way to 3.00 ... HAHAHAHAH ... u got wat i meant ? It's like this. In my boy scout days I used to visit Templer Park at the outskirt of KL.
I saw beautiful butterflies like Raja Brooke and Birdwing. These are so rare today. Raja Brooke butterfly flew like stealth plane and very hard to catch.

Ha! There's a secret. You must find them in caterpilla stage. Just collect these ugly worms with legs. One day they will emerge like lovely butterflies. So easy!

When Perak Corp was 40 cents to 60 cents they looked so ugly. Over Rm1.30 Perak Corp looks like a Great Growth Stock. So I caught Perak Corp in caterpilla stage. Nobody like caterpilla every one loves butterfly.

And so I collect the ugly caterpilla called kbunai. After kbunai crossed 30 cents people say it is a beautiful butterfly.

History repeats itself. And success begets success!

So careless!
Didn't you read in Annual Report that Kbunai also own very prime 1,300 acres land in Sepang!

Three very powerful propelling factors:

1) Greater KL Expansion will reach Sepang one day.

2) Malaysia now Top 10 for World Tourism. One day it will rise to World numer One Champion! Sepang will boom!

3) High Speed Train Stop in Seremban. In Japan all lands near Bullet Train Station automatically up 67%

And there is no restriction selling and buying property in Sepang.

As to Sabah, once it is opened up for foreign investors expect a pent up surge!

Why not? Tightly closed Communist China also opened up Shenzhen for foreign investors. When time is ripe Sabah will open up.

Those people who bought Shenzen lands at 5 cents or 10 cents psf became instant Billionaire when Shenzhen opened up.

Google youtube Shenzhen land boom! And SEE!
