Haha!

This jumping mad ming is spewing nonsense here. Why?

Because he bought luster which will soon turn to duster. The into Egyptian mummy.

Also Fast Track to Holland shares which has no margin of safety.

As to Digistar Director has been buying at 31 cents. Plus it has many defensive qualities. So current weakness is an opportunity to buy below insider buying price.

Years back Calvin Bought PTaras Jaya at RM1.40 (Doctor Director bought at a high of RM1.90) As time unfolded PTaras Jaya later up 500% to Over RM6.00 before split.

As to BJ Corp Calvin first called for a Strong Buy at 49 cents.

Just watch Digistar & BJ Corp verses Luster & Fast Track Performance.

See Which Will Perform Better

datuk, I wonder why no major trading houses like Kenanaga, CIMB, May Bank, RHB, UOB KayHian, Public Bank, rate BJ corp? No one able to or dare to put a target price on it?

Hmmmmm....I wonder .....if there is so much sh*t here ... why are these people here!?

Funny isn't it! A child will avoid sh*t if he sees it in front of him instead of walking straight into it ..... yet we have people here all grown up no longer a child yet can walk into sh*t so they claim .... funny hor!

The Novice168..most of the research houses don't understand the business complexities n the way its uincubators drained out the $$ from bjcorp.

Furthermore , the visibility in profit n return on capital are below ost of funds. No motivation for them to trigger write up.

Essentially, it's extremely hard to make $ from misai ...eexcept when he .ade mistakes in digi n prudential

Good Morning,

I want to address 2 Issues here: 1) Think Net Worth & 2) Research House

1) Think Net Worth

Calvin likes to Value Things in Sum Total and not in parts only. A lot of young professionals have flashy cars, watch & clothes but are up to their necks in credit card debts.

A matured adult might have none of these to show but is well loaded with high value assets paid in case.

I know of a Senior Doctor Friend In Singapore. Though he drove a Jaguar & live in a Good Class Bungalow he only carry S$50 Cash with him.

Only S$50 Cash?

Is he so poor?

Yes & no.

Yes, if you measure him by cash in hand. Only S$50.

No, if you measure him by his Total Net Worth.

So think of BJ Corp like this. THE TOTAL NET WORTH IS IMMENSE.

2) Research House

People in Research House are just like any employees. They are paid a salary & must therefore perform & conform.

They cannot recommend stocks which are out of the ordinary or not popular. So they invariably missed out unloved & overlooked counters.

Bargains are avoided because they are unpopular. So why stick their neck out?

The reverse is true. They will only recommend stocks which are popular. And what is popular is no longer cheap. So Research Houses toe the line and always missed out on bargains.

Obviously, it's half past six explanation on both concepts! Prt 1

There are many variables in the computation of total net worth. Among others:

I) type of debts / liabilities; short term or long term

!!) Type of assets - cash or equivalent;; liquidity; net realisable values, impairment risks

The connection between I n ii would not be easily comprehended by layman

One thing very sure - profit of organization can't be equate to price of equity holding multiply by qty

Profit of organization can't be equate to price of equity holding?

Isn't this a half past six statement?

Think of I Cap Biz by TTB. What business has it got apart from holding equity in other listed companies.

What is BJ Corp? More precise question is, "What is a Corporation?"

What profits do Berkshire Hathaway (the textile shop) have on its own? Berkshire got its growth in Holding Equity in Other Listed Companies.

BJ Corp has BJ FOOD, STAR BUCK COFFEE, BJ AUTO, ATLAN, MAGNI TECH JUST LIKE BERKSHIRE with WELLS FARGO BANK, COCA COLA, JOHNSON & JOHNSON, PROCTOR & GAMBLE.

Please use your brain correctly.

Take for example yr doctor friend, knowing him staying in bungalow n using luxury car is not sufficient to estimate his net worth without knowing his debts..

When there is liquidity issue in serving the repayment , then the realizable value of these assets are not easily estimate! !

When the debt levels are too high like in banyak coma corp, there's risk involved particularly during incoming bad times

Doctor debt?

The House is Worth RM50 Millions. Bought 50 years ago. Debt long settled & paid in CASH.

Only a RM50,000 loan left in Jaguar car. But Got Invested In Other Assets Worth another RM10 Millions. Think RM50K loan will bankrupt him.

Alpha,

Price does not determine Value. Move not move is not measured by market short term behaviour. . BJ Corp will move on its own fundamental

calvintaneng

55,563 posts

Posted by calvintaneng > 2014-11-04 10:36 | Report Abuse

Now let's look at BJ Corp's debt

RM6 Bilion debt? A lot?

We have RM1.7 Billions Cash
Another RM1.5 Billions in BJ Auto Shares
And RM500 Millions in BJ Food
Also RM1 Billions in Batu Pahat Lands
Another RM2 Billions in Berjaya Times Square

So Debt of RM6 Billions - RM6.7 (Cash, Shares & Assets) = A Surplus of RM700 Millions

Many others not Included

1) Berjaya Hills
2) Berjaya Assets
3) Berjaya Toto
4) Berjaya Lands
5) Shares in 7 Eleven
6) Investments in Magni Tech
7) Atlan
8) Shares in "THE STORE"
9) Many others too many to list.

So the Debt is very minuscule if you can see the Whole Picture

Yes I know Kahhoeng,

But In Latest Share Buyback proposal VT included 7 Eleven as one of the listed companies. Why mention 7 Eleven if it has nothing to do with BJ Corp?

In year 2006 BJ Corp's NTA was 12 cents. I used to subscribe the Monthly Digest from Dyna Quest. Suddenly I noticed in one issue the NTA has ballooned to over RM1.00 from 12 cents.

VT just shifted Lots of Assets (Or Assets just appeared) to BJ Corp. Seeing the "strange Movement" I bought BJ Corp at 12.5 cents then. By next year BJ Corp rose to a high of RM1.52
